Re: Upcoming Non-Eagles shows you plan on attending
It's over six months off yet, but I've just got tickets to see the Australian Pink Floyd show in October next year. Obviously it isn't Pink Floyd themselves, but I have accepted that this isn't realistically going to happen, and it's a great chance to hear many of my absolute favourite songs live. A guy I know has been to see them and said they put on the best Floyd show and they get some excellent reviews. I'm looking forward to it, if the setlist is anything like the ones I've read from their UK tour last year (Astronomy Domine to open, followed by the whole Wish You Were Here album? Yes please! :yay:)

Going to Guns N Roses Gillette Stadium July 19th my first gnr show.
Re: Upcoming Non-Eagles shows you plan on attending
Joe Bonamassa, September 30 at Sydney Opera House (our second time seeing him). I was starting to despair of seeing any show this year.
Re: Upcoming Non-Eagles shows you plan on attending
Had a little change with the Old Dominion concert as they actually are playing in my city July 3rd so we're going to that one instead. So that should be my next one, and then Keith Urban later in July and Brad Paisley in September (since they one I was going to go in Feb was cancelled). I do want to see Haim next month but not sure I have anyone to go with.

That would be epic to hear Astronomy Domine.
My long-range concert plans include Brian Wilson in September. This is my first time doing the VIP package thing. I'll get my photo taken with the man himself. I'm sure it will be the thrill of his lifetime :)

What should I say to him, LuvTim - do you have any advice for the socially challenged? I admire folks like Soda who've met their heroes Stevie and Glenn and Don H. She's got the whole savoir faire thang goin' on.

Right! So I'm thinking Soda should be advising you on this, pas moi! Lol...
I would, almost certainly, be a puddle of mud if face to face with TBS.
I think I could use some coaching here, as well. :D

Have you ever done the VIP thing? I think they hustle you along, so maybe there's not time to say much except, "Thank you, Mr. Wil..." and then you get the hook.
