If that's the case, then this is during the HFO era since he was a toddler during that time. I think the first picture I've seen Deacon with long hair as a child.

@YEF:
1= I
4= love
3= you
Bless him. I know how he feels. These are the tough days, along with birthdays and other anniversaries.
Thanks for letting us know about the post, YEF - mystery solved. Looks like groupie was right about it being Deacon, but I would have never guessed it. I think this is the first picture I've ever seen of Deacon as a toddler. And I didn't know what 143 means either - geez, I'm getting old. :mad:
And groupie - I agree that this must be a really tough day for the Frey family. My heart goes out to them.
Same. :sad:
I was only a little older than Deacon when my dad passed- -- 27. My dad was only 61. So I get it, too. I get it so much. Bless those kids. I'd hug them all if I could.
Well, I did not know what 143 meant either. I have seen pictures of Deacon as a toddler and he had long blonde kind of curly hair. My Dad died in my early 30's. Father's day and other holidays were difficult for a long time. I know how hard it is for Cindy and the kids. Especially since they were all so young. I was thinking of them all yesterday. :-(
I didn't know what 143 meant either. That's a beautiful picture. Glenn was probably teaching Deacon how to play the guitar for the first time. Maybe not, but an early picture of Deacon with a guitar. I wonder how old he is in this picture. Probably 1 or 2
My sympathies, Pippin, FP, and New Kid...I can't imagine how hard that must have been. Hugs all around!
My grandfather died when my dad was 21, very suddenly, (before I was born) and it still affects him deeply to this day. I think about Otis, too, wasn't he only 13? This must be such a hard time of year for them all.
It will be 10 years in November since I lost my dad. I was in my 50's and I still have a hard time, so I can just imagine how difficult it must be to lose a parent when you are still young.
Sorry if I started this, guys. *hugs to everyone*
No need to apologize, groupie. I think the discussion was entirely appropriate given the circumstances here and appreciate everyone's comments. It is an emotional time of year for those of us who have lost their parents and recognizing them honors their memory.
Long hair, mustache, Phillies shirt. Yeah, it all works. :inlove:

Nice!
The long hair and mustache (doesn't usually matter what they are wearing ;)) works for me to Pippin. Thanks!

Oh my.:faint:
@Magnolia -- I'll have one of those, please! :smitten:
Thanks, Pippin and Magnolia! Now these are my kind of pictures!
I see what you did there... So I'll just leave this here:

More "hair" -- that pesky lock that kept getting in his eyes...

@CA-- Makes me want to flip it out of the way.... :heybaby:

It's the sensuality of his complete abandon captured in that moment in time.
And the guitar strap pushing open the shirt to show more sweaty chest doesn't hurt.
Came across this photo for sale on eBay - unfortunately there is a watermark
with Debbie Harry c 1989

@GAN -- Watermark, shmartermark. LOL. Love it anyway!
Thanks for posting!
That's from Wiseguy! Bobby Travis and Diana Price! Such an awesome show.
Yep - nothing like sensual, wreckless abandonment and sweaty-haired chest to get the ladies all riled up. :grin:
And love the photo with Debbie Harry - I was always a little disappointed that they didn't develop the romantic story-line between Bobby and Diana in the Wiseguy arc. It was insinuated in several scenes, and then all of a sudden she was dropped from the story entirely.
I never did see those episodes. Maybe I can catch them if one of the retro TV channels re-runs the series.
But it is further proof the man absolutely rocked a tux! Not that there was any doubt, but -- mucho yumminess. :smitten:
Another yummy "in the moment" moment:

Glenn with harmonica and cigarette. Does that count as multi-tasking? ;)
