I've never heard of that before. Cute song!
In this clip, John Mayer ("Your Body is a Wonderland") dresses as a bear to go out among his fans in disguise and kid around. It made me laugh so hard - can you imagine one of the guys doing this?

Oh my gosh, Bob Seger is SOOOOOOOOO young here!
Ramblin' Gamblin' Man from a show in the sixties
Oh my! John Mayer was hilarious!
And Bob WAS young there! Interesting that he held the mic in one hand and played the keyboard with the other the whole time.
Those were great. Thanks Soda! :D
Thanks for those, Soda. I loved the John Mayer one and like Brooke, I thought it was interesting how Bob held the mike during his entire performance. What - was this in the days before mike stands were invented.
John Mayer has a really funny sense of humor. I've seen other video's of him being funny - he's hysterical. I think it's great that he has such a sense of humor about himself.
As for Bob Seger - I think the older Bob is a lot hotter than the younger Bob :D
Another Simon the Cat video!

Eagles-friends: I imagine some of you also love the 70's band America. In case you don't know, they continue to tour and have some great web sites and blog (which has a heavy amount of daily traffic), and of course there are lots of videos of them on youtube.
Their web site is: http://venturahighway.com/
Their blog is: http://america.accessbackstage.com/blog/
Their fan page (which is really fantastic) is: http://www.accessbackstage.com/america/
Also, I've posted six youtube videos of my America covers at: youtube.com/ajmora.
Thought y'all would appreciate this.
Al Mora
Thanks Am. I loved America back in the 70's, but had kinda forgotten about them. Fave song-Sister Golden Hair.
I'll check those sites out. Thanks!
My SIL's father was in the Army and she grew up in England and went to high school with the two guys from the band America. Apparently they were Army brats too. She and my brother recently got to see them in concert and afterward she got to talk to them briefly. As soon as she said the name of the high school they said "Go Wildcats!", referring to the name of their team back then.
PM--Gerry Buckley and Dewey Bunnell? Are you kidding? Love Gerry Buckley and he is still sounding and looking as good as ever!!! Did she manage to get any pics? I'm star struck once again!! ;-)
Pretty catchy tune, I like it!
Hubby turned me on to this video. Awesome!

Sorry TBF, I almost forgot to answer your question, although I don't know much. I think she did show me an autographed picture of them. She said she was more the age of Dewey's brother.
Here's what Wiki says about their early years...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sons of American fathers and British mothers, their fathers being military personnel stationed at the United States Air Force installation at RAF West Ruislip, London, all three attended London Central High School, at Bushey Hall, about 16 miles Northwest of London, in during the mid-1960s where they met while playing in two different bands.
Wow, that guy is great!
PM-I don't know if your husband is actually into the ukelele or if it's because it's a Beatles tune, it is amazing nevertheless. Here's another one I thought he might like to check out. It is by Greg Hawkes, former keyboard player for my beloved Cars. I really like some of them but then others that he does like the Cars songs just don't sound right as ukelele music. I really like this version of Eleanor Rigby tho.

:applause:Now that is a couple who will probably be married for about a gazillion years because they know how to have fun and don't care about the "politically correct" way to do things!!! I would love to know their story and how they came up with that. Best of luck to them for a very very long and happy life together.
Thanks LR for posting that!
Well.. that does it.. I wanna get married again..... "Cliffy...??" .. who am I kidding.. he does the white man shuffle when FORCED (at gun point) to dance.. Okay, I want to ATTEND that wedding... someone get married.. hurry...
I LOVE that! It was on The Morning Show a while back!
Let me tell you that put a HUUUUGE smile on my face! Thanks for posting that, TLR!
Okay, this is just.. well.. weird.. I posted this video to my facebook cuz i LOVE it... and I get a message from an old friend from highschool saying "OH its so funny you posted Kevin's wedding video to facebook. His brother is my next door neighbor." So Im thinking, cool.. what a co-inky-dink... then we're talking about kids etc..and she has a son who's a music producer in Los Angeles I jokingly tell her if she ever gets an opportunity to do ANYTHING with Joe Walsh or the Eagles to call me and Ill trade her a kidney.
She laughes and says "Oh he doesnt do anything with the Eagles but we HAVE discussed Joe before"...... :thud:
THEN FACEBOOK CHAT FREAKIN DIES ON ME!!!!!! :machinegun:{FaceBook}
ARGH.. I'll let you know if anything else develops... like a brain hemorrhage...
Aaargh, ticky, how frustrating, and what a coincidence that your friend actually knew him! That is such a great entrance!! Thanks for posting, tlr, and great to hear from you again!
As an aside, although I realised it had to come from across the pond, some of the guests appeared to be wearing remembrance poppies. Was that just my imagination?
OH my gosh keep us updated ticky!
GEF - I believe those are just customary wedding corsages and boutonnieres with no special meaning. I could be wrong!
BTW, I checked out some of the comments on this video - "What a great idaea! I'm gonna do that!" - apparently this year there will be MANY couples boogeying down the aisle! Your friend's neighbor and his wife may become world-wide trendsetters! lol
:weep::ack: :sigh: Sorry - I always cry at weddings!
That was amazing! It really does make me wish I was younger and could get married all over again! I would love to be able to plan a fun wedding ceremony like that!
OMG, this is just beautiful

Been in a Sammy Hagar mood lately and while surfing YouTube, I found this young lady performing with Sammy and his band Cabo Wabos at Foxwoods Casino. UNBELIEVABLE!!! She's only 15 folks. Especially pay attention around the 5 minute mark when she really gets going!! WOW!! And LOVE at the end when Sammy grabs her, takes her to the front of the stage and yells, "Put that sh*t on YouTube!". :hilarious:
