His daughter confirmed, "...He is stardust." 🌠
He did my favorite album cover, "One of These Nights"...RIP
So sorry to hear this. My heart goes out to his family and friends. He had quite a long history with the band.
Here he is as one of the lawmen on the back cover of the Desperado album (that's him in the middle standing behind Bernie) ...

And the band's album covers that he designed the art pieces and lettering ...

In keeping with the skull theme, I wonder if he also designed the art for Eagles: Their Greatest Hits I? I don't think there are any liner notes for this one.
ETA: Well a simple web search revealed that Boyd did design the skull art and lettering for this album, so I'll add it to this post:

BTW - As I was posting in this thread, I remembered that I had this photo. This is one of the pictures of Glenn's home in Aspen that were posted on the web when the house went up for sale. You can see that Glenn must have acquired the skull artwork from One of These Nights ...

May he rest in peace. I love the artwork on One of These Nights, and how cool that he got to play a part in that iconic Desperado cover. What with Gary Burden's passing a few months ago we are sadly losing more and more of those who crafted the band's image and identity.
That is gorgeous (how Glenn’s Aspen home was decorated).
R.I.P. El Chingadero -that was Boyd’s nickname!
According to this article, he did do the covers for both Greatest Hits. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.tex...est-texas/amp/
Thanks for the photo of Glenn's home, Dreamer. That art piece is spectacular!
