New to this site.....When I watched the HOTE, Don seemed very wistful and perplexed that Linda did not opt to participate in the documentary, almost hurt. I imagine that he could not have known what she was going through.

Wonderful interview by Diane Sawyer, both touching and light. I'm blown away by Linda's attitude but I'm sure her positivity strengthens her resolve to fight. God bless her.
Another interview. She's really a straight shooter, isn't she? I like how down-to-earth she is and that she makes sure to keep the interviews lighthearted.

Welcome to The Border Kamie!
PM:
Thanks for posting these interviews. I think Linda looks great and I love her attitude. I really enjoyed watching the interviews.
I'm seeing her at the 92nd St. Y this week, and am looking forward to hearing her speak about the book. I was hoping the evening would not be sad, given the news, but I think she will keep it upbeat and positive. I'm really looking forward to it.
Will do! John Rockwell is interviewing her, so it should be interesting.
Not sure if this has been posted, but the Times did a nice interview with Linda a few weeks ago. It's a very good read.

Thanks NYCF. That last paragraph is heartbreaking.
Great read in the Times! I can't wait to hear about the book signing & interview NYCF! I would love to see Linda.
I just checked Amazon & my copy of Simple Dreams has been shipped. Previews of the book are available on the site now. The Table of Contents lists a chapter entitled The Eagles, but it is only 2 pages long. The first page is available in the preview & it tells how Don & Glenn came to be hired for her band.
