Actually there seems to be tons of Joe stuff on there. Here's his video for "In My Car":

found this one don't know where its at though, wish I had a car that went that fast :)
It's the strat concert :) Right at the end when they show the audience clapping, you can just make out a girl to the far right with a yellow T-shirt. That's Toonlass 8)Quote:

Check out this 1971 version of Walk Away with the James Gang! Totally "psychedelic" lol.

This video is awesome, it has Joe of course and other awesome guitarist Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Brian May 8)
I'm just catching up on a couple of these videos. That last one is awesome, ff. What a line up! Walk Away is cool as well. Do I get the impression he is lip-synching there?
That is a great video. I don't think he's lip synching GEF. The timing may be off a bit, but it's so improvised that it would be hard to lip synch that, IMO.
On balance, I think you are right, dreamer. I forget how streaming videos sometimes have a delay!
Joe from Japan.

Hey, here's one from this year! February at the Belly Up Tavern in San Diego! OAG! It's pretty dark, but it's new!

Oooh, what a find! Thanks Brooke!
That's very cool, thanks Brooke! It's great to see the guys doing these solo gigs and as you say, almost right up to the minute!
Joe Walsh doing Rocky Mountain Way on David Letterman, c. 1987 - it includes the interview, too. Joe is such a hoot.

OMG - this one is fantastic. I love Joe's coat here and literally laughed out loud at the interview. Gotta watch this one folks! :D
See Joe at the Star of the Desert, Primm, NV:

8) Fluffy Hair!
He looks and sounds great! Thanks for posting!
Here's The Confessor video - WEIRD.

Very strange!
But the desert scenes at the beginning remind me of the new HL video.
And Joe must have huge feet! I bet he must wear at least a size 12! Look at 'em! Especially at the beginning!
Woah, that video is... interesting, haha.
It was too much for me. I had to stop watching it. lol
A bit disturbing, that. But interesting to see him venture outside of "Joe the Clown."
I like to see that too. It's just too bad he went to such an extreme the other way.Quote:

Good point about the songs, Jack, and I agree that Joe has "big balls" as you put it. Since his new songs are rockers, I doubt they will be terribly intense, so we may not get a chance to hear more serious material from him on Long Road Out Of Eden. A bit early to tell, though, I realise that.
You're probably right... but I'm still hoping for another intense rocker like Turn to Stone. Genius.
Oh, I love Turn to Stone!
Turn to Stone is brilliant, I love it too, the guitar solo is one of his best. If he has a song like that on this album I shall be thrilled.
"Thrilled" doesn't come close to describing how I would feel if he had another Turn to Stone on this new album. I'd probably have to change my shorts.Quote:

Very funny, JoeFan!
Thanks for the link - I've found a couple of cool live performances there. This version of Turn To Stone starts of with a Genesis-like introduction, then some awesome flute playing in the middle.

Love that one, JF. Don't 'ya just love Joe's suit in that commercial! :D
Here's a video of Joe doing Life in the Fast Lane in 1989:
Joe and the All-Starrs - Life in the Fast Lane (1989)
Not exactly the best rendition of it! But the video quality is good.
And here's the James Gang doing Tend My Garden. It's a poor quality audience video, but unlike most, it has relatively good sound and the full song.
James Gang - Tend My Garden (Dallas 2006)
Those are great! Thanks Soda.
(I'm still recovering from the Confessor video  )
Thank you for posting these, I know everyone criticises Joe's version of Life in the Fast Lane but I think it has a certain charm. Tend My Garden is a treat.Quote:
