Welcome to the Border MM - great to have another Eagles fan on board
Thanks, GA! Great to be here. I've been reading some really interesting threads. I hope to catch up on them someday!
MyMy! Glad you're here! You're right about the threads. Many of them warrant repeat visits! Have fun!

Welcome, MM !!
Welcome! I got my PhD at Purdue. Go Boilermakers!
Hi!
Would you happen to have your ticket handy from that first Eagles concert? Some friends and I were trying to nail down what the date was of the Convention Center show. I tried reviewing the show dates on the site
https://www.setlist.fm/
and according to entries there, Eagles played at another venue out of state on that date, Rich Stadium in Orchard Park, NY. If you could help clear up the discrepancy, it would be much appreciated! I did find a clipping (see attachment) in the Indianapolis Star that indicates the same date as you for Indy.
Thanks!
No, I'm sorry I don't. I just found the ad from the concert. The original concert date in April was supposed to have Minnie Riperton as an opening act, but I knew I saw Dan Fogelberg as an opener. Finally found the ad for the concert date in August of 1975. If you look up Eagles Indianapolis Star, there is a video that pops up showing the ads and dates. I found that ad using Newspapers.com last year. At the bottom of it, it says how to turn in your old ticket from the original concert date to get a ticket for the rescheduled date. I've found many discrepancies with dates on the concert tour and set list sites. This 1975 tour seems to have a lot of dates that are not listed or that are changed dates. I don't know if it had anything to do with the recording and release of "One of these Nights" or something else. Also, the rescheduled date was at a much smaller venue (Convention center maybe 7,000 capacity vs. Market Square Arena 18,000).
Sorry, just reread my post. Meant to say I you look up Eagles Indianapolis Star on YouTube, the Eagles concert ads will pop up.
