Re: Remembering Glenn Frey
These last couple of weeks, Glenn has been on my mind even more than usual. Soda, Houston Baby, and I took a long weekend trip to Detroit a couple of weeks ago and spent some time in Royal Oak where Glenn grew up. Then, we went to see his buddy and early mentor, Bob Seger, in concert and his love, admiration, and friendship for Glenn was so evident throughout the show. Then, today, marks the anniversary of Glenn's Strange Weather album, which has a special place in my heart. All this inspired me to come here and just say a few words of remembrance from one of Glenn's many true fans. He's been gone almost 3 1/2 years now, and I just thought I would take a few moments to reflect on how this man has affected my life and how much he is missed. Thanks for the memories and music, Glenn. You made the world a better place!

Re: Remembering Glenn Frey
Dreamer, a beautiful post. Glenn is so missed. I can't believe it has been 3 1/2 years.
Re: Remembering Glenn Frey
Beautiful post, Dreamer. 3 1/2 years, it's hard to believe. Sadly, I had a fish I named Glenn Frey that died this morning. I had him 3 years, I got him not long after Glenn's passing. That and Dreamer's post somehow brought it all home to me.
Re: Remembering Glenn Frey
Ah - that's sad about your fish, groupie. And thanks everyone for your comments ... my post came straight from the heart.
Re: Remembering Glenn Frey
Thanks, Dreamer. I'm already planning to go to the pet store this weekend and pick out Glenn Frey II!
Re: Remembering Glenn Frey
Thanks for your post, Dreamer.
And so sorry to hear about your fish, groupie!
Re: Remembering Glenn Frey
Lovely post Dreamer, sounds like it was a very memorable trip to make. I hope we manage to meet up again at some stage on one of these adventures.
Groupie, sorry to hear about your fishie
