Re: The Eagles Ebay Alert Thread
I agree FP that they can rightfully be called a founder, but if you get technical about it, the founder mplies that he is the only one. I guess we should overlook it though since it's ebay. Ya can learn something new everyday on ebay can't ya - don't mean it's right though.
Re: The Eagles Ebay Alert Thread
Yes - in this case it can be overlooked.
If Don were referred to as 'leader' or 'front man' or 'lead singer', however....

(Sorry I must correct that - the collector's edition is £280, the deluxe version is no longer available and doesn't give a price )
Re: The Eagles Ebay Alert Thread
I hear ya - I think I'll pass on both! I'm thinking most everyone else will as well - at least I hope so. Some of these jerks on ebay amaze me.

I thought this looked interesting!
SOUL POLE #4 - Rare EAGLES LP! 1 of 50 made in 1981! On EBAY!
Hello to All - Thanks for letting me join this forum to tell you about an awesome find that I have listed on EBAY - SOUL POLE #4, one of the "lost" EAGLES recordings! Somewhat mythical, this LP is one of only 50 pressed by producer Bill Szymczyk and given away as Christmas gifts (back in 1981) to band members! This is a double lp, and the vinyl is in near mint condition. This is one of thse things you may never see again, so I thought you might want to check it out! Sorry for the self-promotion, but here's the link:

Thanks for posting that, Jamie. It's fun just looking at the pictures you have posted. Sounds like some fun stuff on there. I'd love to hear "The Sounds of Irving".
