RIP Jeff Cook of band 'Alabama"

Sadly, Jeff Cook, singer and chief instrumentalist of country-rock group Alabama has passed away after a long battle with Parkinson's. I met him several times in the early 80s, and he was super nice. The group named Eagles as a big influence, and Jeff sang several of Glenn's solo songs when doing his own shows. With Alabama, Jeff brought a casual, fun, and youthful edge not seen in country music before. Glenn said in an interview he could hear Eagles' influence in their early harmonies.
