Happy as I am about this.... this reinforces even more my fears about this album. Why would somebody with a just released new album be doing solo shows?
To make some moolah while they wait for the Eagles to get it together enough to tour?
Of course, perhaps they've decided not to tour for the new album or, worse yet, not release it all. But Glenn and Don had indicated differently...
I guess we'll see. Let's hope for the best! I'm crossing my fingers that the article about it coming out in June is correct.
"Formerly of the Eagles"?
I hope it doesn't mean the album will be delayed. Perhaps they are planning an autumn tour.
Interesting that ticket prices are nearly twice as much for Glenn than for Donny Osmond! I wish, I wish I could get there.
Will you go, Nancy?
I want to see Glenn so bad, but that is just too far. :(
I wish he would do some more shows!
Maybe he will do another casino date here or there, you never know. After all, he said he wasn't going to anything but corporate dates earlier in the year, yet here he is!
I am in pain... Can you feel the pain?  I wish I could go and see Glenn ... but I can't (sniff)...
What makes the first show on 16 August even more significant for me is that it coincides with the 30th anniversary of Elvis' passing - and of course, there's going to be a lot going on in Memphis this year as a result of that.
How much do the front row tickets cost? Soda, I know you said the prices started at $75, so I was just wondering - I went in on the pages, but I don't know where to look. :?
And what do they mean Glenn  is "formerly of The Eagles"? As far as I know The Eagles are still together? :?:
Good question, Mrs. F. I had a "duh" moment and thought all the tickets were $75 American dollars, but that's not the case!
According to Ticketmaster, the top price for seats is $106 Canadian dollars, which is $97 American dollars before fees and all of that.
Not good...
As far as we know he is not 'formerly of the Eagles'. This sort of thing gets written about every one of them all the time.
Given that he did say he would only be doing corporate shows this year, this seems like a peculiar move. Surely at least ONE person on this board can go? :?
