Joe was a surprise guest with Kenny Chesney last night (3/26/15)

Kenny kicked off his new tour last night in Nashville, and Joe was a surprise guest and played on stage.

I love Kenny's music too and am a huge modern country fan (mostly because it doesn't sound like classic country! :hilarious:). I wish I could have been there.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, but there was a brief clip of Joe at the CMAs last night during a video montage tribute to Kenny Chesney. Joe said "Thank you for being an ambassador for country music". Kenny received the Pinnacle Award last night. I thought it was nice that Joe was included in honoring Kenny.

I watched that too. I love modern country/new country/today's country so I watch every year and I thought that was pretty cool. Joe and Kenny are friends. Wish I could catch a Kenny show where Joe was the surprise guest, but I'd never know in advance. Kenny puts on a crazy show, and mostly only does stadiums and fields and domes. He brings a huge crowd. Never been to one of his shows as Stadiums aren't my thing, but I've seen pics and videos and he is a great entertainer.

I love Kenny Chesney. I saw him in concert as the one of the opening acts for George Strait many years ago, when he was just starting out. Just watching his concert clips you can sense the excitement in his shows. It's very cool he and Joe are friends.
