I hope you still enjoy it. Given this new development we should probably meet in the lobby before the show.

Just got a first pressing with the textured cover of "Saturate Before Using"/self titled album (first album).
I bought it because of one song, lol - Doctor My Eyes which is STILL my favorite JB song hands down. That piano riff is my favorite. I'll be very sad if I don't hear it next month. But I'll live. ;)
According to Wikipedia, it's supposed to mean "quality enhancement of sound." I guess maybe the sound is sharper? Easier to hear vocal parts and instruments?
We have a few albums which have been remastered onto Blu Ray (including Hotel California, which is a Super Audio CD). Depending on how good a job is done with remastering the original recordings, they can be a real eye-opener. For example I recently got the remastered Blu Ray of Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road & the sound is extraordinary I have been listening to that album for 40 years & I heard stuff I had never heard before. But in my view if it's a basically acoustic album like this album presumably is, it probably won't sound all that much better. You need a wide variety of instruments & song styles, which you don't get on a Jackson Browne album. Little Criminals by Randy Newman which we have isn't a vast improvement on the original. Brothers In Arms IS, when you turn up the volume. You really need to have a 7.1 surround sound system to get the best out of these remastered albums.
Ah ha! Thanks for the info!
