I just heard on radio that Neil Peart passed away. Shocked. Man was a Beast on drums. So sad to hear he was battling brain cancer. What an icon, a great lyricst, another joins the band in the sky. So saddened to hear.

So sad. Neil Peart was a very influential musician both inside and outside his genre. RIP.
Another brilliant musician gone way too soon. He was such an innovative lyricist and instrumentalist. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans at this sad time.
