Re: What is your Favorite Glenn Frey Vocal?
Very difficult choice. The first songs that come to mind, though, are "New Kid In Town" (WOW!), "The Girl From Yesterday" and "You Belong To The City". These three songs show off Glenn's  versatility and vocal range. So very easy on the ear. Love it.

Too hard to pick but the PEF HFO unplugged version is a fav.

I didn’t post in this thread immediately as I wanted to give it some thought before replying. I really love most of Glenn’s Eagles vocals and my favourites do change depending on my mood.
Having said this though, my favourite Glenn vocal right now would probably have to be Tequila Sunrise. I think his voice on the song matches the hungover feel of the lyrics and the music absolutely perfectly, tinged with just the right amount of weariness and regret, especially the ‘she wasn’t just another woman’ verse. It’s melancholy without being miserable, and I think it’s a key part of the magic of the song.

In the below clip I'm linking to, the song starts at

Well worth a listen.
That is fabulous. I love this rearranged version!! Although I never get tired of the original, this is refreshing.

I completely agree with your choice and love your description of the vocals on it! Glenn's voice is absolutely perfect

Since it's the anniversary of its Grammy for best rock vocal, I want to note the amazing vocals on Heartache Tonight. His voice on HT, especially on the chorus, has a rough and raucous quality that energizes the song.

Amen to that, Soda. It's definitely one of my favorites!
