I just found a fun article involving Glenn and Iriving and the LA Lakers from 2003. I don't know if anyone else has seen it before but it is new to me!

Thank you for that TF. I can think of some non-American team sports where massive egos and huge expectations sometimes get in the way of the team's best interests. Europeans will know that if I just say 'Manchester United' and 'Real Madrid' that sums it up. The Australian cricket team appear to be going through a similar crisis at the moment.
Very clever - nice find, TF!
It seems Glenn is much more frank about the deterioration of his relationship with Henley in the late 70s when speaking to this sportswriter. Usually he glosses over any issues with Henley and focuses on Felder and the Long Beach incident when discussing what led up to the 1980 breakup of the band.Quote:

As I continue my research into the next guitar I will buy I found this for all of our Glenn Frey Fans:

Apparently Glenn is an endorser for Takamine guitars.
Thanks for posting that, although it's quite old. He hasn't done any endorsements for them for some time.
He still apparently loves to use them, though, and still has a deal with the company to do a "signature" series of guitar.
Thanks for posting that, JAHH!
Glenn spotted in Miami!
"Eagles fans spotted Glenn Frey enjoying a Kobe A5 NY Strip and glass of red wine at Bourbon Steak in The Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club Tuesday night."

It didn't mention him being with anyone!! If I'd known he was on his own I'h have kept him company
Please excuse my ignorance but what is a 'Kobe A5 NY Strip'? Steak?
