I've been checking hourly every day. Can't even bring up 1 ticket!
Not sure if this helps, or if there was a massive drop, but my friend picked up really great side stage seats, 5 rows up for us for Philly at the end of last week. I haven't been following the sales there, as this was a last minute trip, but hopefully that will happen for all the dates.
Apologies if this has been covered.
Thanks for the tips - every little bit of information is helpful. I just checked again a few minutes ago and I'm starting to see a little movement now for the D.C. show. I haven't seen any change at all in the last two or three week, but just now something in Section 100 dropped. That's not floor, but it is lower level. It's a good sign so I'm crossing my fingers for something better.
Fleetwood Mac was incredible! More details soon!
3 days to concert time and still no tickets available on TM. And prices haven't dropped on the scalper sites.
Soda, would love to hear about your VIP experience & meeting Mick!:partytime:
Can't wait to hear about it, Nancy!!!
I'm frustrated for you Brook!!! I sure hope you find something before you leave and not have to hope to get a good one when you arrive. Keep us posted.
Nancy can chime in on the M&G in Columbus. I did the M&G in DC and it was AWESOME. Mick couldn't have been better. He was sweet, funny and still incredibly tall. He even smelled good heh. There was a little girl in our group and he was so cute with her and even let her sit at his drum kit for a few photos. He took us up on stage as a group and told us about how the group reconvened and how FM is a family (they may not like each other at the end of the day but they will always love each other). We then got individual photos (Mine is HERE) and then got about 20 minutes of Q&A and autographs. I got to ask him how he got CMV to come all the way to Hawaii when she's terrified of flying and has barely left England in a decade.
It was worth every penny for the package and getting to spend the show RIGHT in front of Stevie. Yes, lots are complaining about a lack of change to the setlist but I didn't even get to see them last tour so seeing them now and seeing Sisters of the Moon was amazing.
I took a ton of pics. Hopefully I'll have time this weekend to get them all up on Facebook (as well as further away pics from the Philly show I also went to).
EDIT: I forgot - the M&G was delayed by soundcheck but we got to listen to several songs as consolation including Second Hand News and The Chain.
Very cool, PFD!
Sorry I haven't put mine up yet but I am working on it! So, how did Mick get Christine to Hawaii?
Sounds amazing, pfd. And wow what a great pic of you and Mick! He is tall, but I knew that! Next to you.....really tall!
I'm still biting my nails.......there are tickets out there for outrageous prices, that I'm not buying. Can't believe there aren't any dropped yet.
Chris loved Hawaii when she lived in CA and really wanted to go back. She told Mick she wanted to visit and he thought she was kidding. She said she was serious. So Mick told her that when he was going to the UK in February to do press, he'd hold her hand the entire way to Hawaii and he did. She stayed for 3 weeks. He never asked her to do the gig either. He said that when she declared she was done in '98, he acknowledged her wishes and didn't ask her again. She asked him if she could tag along (Steven Tyler may have been pushing a little though).
He also mentioned that she stopped in LA and went to rehearsals.
What I should've asked was how the hell she got back to England.
I guess I need to ask where Stevie stands on stage since I've never seen them. I'd prefer to be closest to her if I ever find tickets!
A bit to the left of center, right?
Cool story, pfd!
Yes - She basically stands in between where Glenn and Tim would be in an Eagles show. Fingers crossed for you!
We've gotten our photos from the Mick Fleetwood VIP Meet'n'Greet. Here are mine:

Since it was the first night and ground(ctrl) - the company organizing it - sucks, things were disorganized. However, once we got in to see Mick, we got to get our pictures taken with him and get something signed, as well as have a Q&A. I asked him about the new music and told him fans wanted not just a few songs, but a whole album of new material! He said they hoped the would get us a full album eventually. What he didn't say but that we all know is that Stevie is the holdout, so I hope she comes to her senses. I hear now he's stopped personalizing autographs at the M&G's - BOO - so I was lucky to get his very rare solo album The Visitor signed "To Nancy."

My seat was in the second row, but Fleetwood Mac allows people up to the stage. Since there were so many hardcores opening night, I knew I would have to be fast to get a good space at the stage. As soon as the lights went down, I was off like a shot and a got a primo spot at the stage right in between Lindsey and Stevie's mics (closer to Lindsey's, but that's fine with me since he was so flirty with we girls up there lol).
The show was INCREDIBLE. There were opening night nerves and a few mistakes, but the magic was there! Plus, they pulled out an unreleased Buckingham Nicks demo "Without You" from 1971 and played it! It would be like hearing the Eagles break into "Get Up Kate"! I about died! They also played a very uptempo new song "Sad Angel" which I really enjoyed, and it seemed the audience was very into it as well. They dusted off "Sisters of the Moon" last performed in 1982 which was also thrilling, and were back to doing "Silver Springs" with the emotion it deserves. Yeah, the banter was rehearsed, but I don't care. I came to hear them rock and rock they did.
There is a level of intensity you get standing at the feet of the band, dancing the night away, that you just don't get when you're sitting in chair - even a chair in the front row. I was pretty much in a frenzy the whole night, but especially when Lindsey played guitar standing over me or looking right into my eyes as he sang (OK, that only happened a couple times, but still!) Love!!!
The only thing I didn't like was that Stevie wore those stupid sunglasses during most of the show. Thank goodness she took them off towards the end so we could see her beautiful expressive eyes as she sang! BTW, she and Lindsey both look great.
Here's a couple videos from the show:

I didn't take any video myself but I know I can always count on my fellow Mac fans!
I'm going to see them at JazzFest but it won't be the same there - a shortenened setlist and standing behind a couple hundred VIPs. No, I've got to see another show!
I LOVE FLEETWOOD MAC!
Wow, great pictures, Nancy! You look great! Very sweet one of the two of you hugging. Did you ask him if you could give him a hug? Just wondering how that happened.
I agree with you about the sunglasses. Has she done that before? Maybe her eyes were bothering her???
I am jealous of both y'all!! Lucky gals!!
Actually, I'm jealous of everyone with the possibility of a concert within 2 hours driving distance!! (Hello, Mac...Knoxville?? Asheville??) :partytime:
PM - I saw another girl hug him and so I decided to get one, too! I held out my arms and he acquiesced without me actually having to ask. ;)
Stevie started wearing those sunglasses, even indoors, a couple of years ago. I thought it was to hide wrinkles or eye droopage or something. It's not a medical necessity because she doe sometimes take them off. Some have suggested she can no longer wear contacts for some reason, and finds it sexier to wear sunglasses than regular ones. That's possible!
GS - no concert is within 2 hours of me. The closest is Little Rock which is 2 and a half hours, and I can't go to that because it's graduation night. :(
That is interesting because when I saw her with Fleetwood Mac she didn't wear them. I looked right into her eyes at one point. I don't remember her wearing them when I saw her solo but I wasn't so close.
I know what it's like with the Lindsey thing now. I am still recovering from that (even though I had something happen which completely eclipsed it earlier this year).
Great photos. You're very lucky.
Awesomeness!!!
Soda, so cool you got The Visitor personally signed! No personalizations for us. People tried but I don't think Mick or his assistant paid attention. A guy in our M&G had a copy of I'm Not Me which I was definitely envious of.
Well, we're doing it! Wish us luck. We did it for Bob Seger and it turned out fine, but I'm apprehensive. I guess if nothing else we can surely get one to sit in nosebleed and hear.
ETA: Just got a chance to scan your pic, Nancy.....wonderful! Don't have time to read right now, but I'm sure it was wonderful!
Good luck Brooke! Didn't check out the box office in Philly but people were buying decent seats at the box office in DC without problems.
Good luck Brooke!!! Nancy, you are too lucky for sure. Loved the review and so glad that you got your picture taken Mick. He seems like a very sweet man.
So glad you had a great time Soda. Nice hug too! I think you should have them both framed!
Good luck Brookie! We're all rooting for you!
Wow Love the pictures of you & Mick. Came out fantastic, Nancy!
Good luck in finding good tickets, Brooke ... crossing my toes and fingers for you.
And PFD and Soda - wonderful photos of you both with Mick. Sounds like an awesome M&G for both of you.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go to the D.C. show last Tuesday night. I was not a happy camper when our project EVP decided on Monday that he wanted to take our team out for an appreciation dinner on Tuesday night since we were all in the same city. It was nice of him, but I would have really appreciated it more if there had been more notice. The only good news is that I was going to buy my ticket at the venue, so I didn't have that to worry about.
That sucks!!!!! I hope they come near you some other time... they really have been putting on a great show and you never know when it might be their last tour.
And here's hoping for Brooke!!
You look adorable PFD! And if Mick looks tall next to me, he's a giant next to you!
Oh NAncy, I lov ethe pictures of you and Mick . You got a hug and you got hands on him..hubba hubba...
Youlook so so happy....
thanks for the review and sharing
Just a quick note, tired.
I checked at Tm after we got to the hotel and still it said no tickets were available. But there were tons on the scalper sites. ??? Finally Saturday afternoon we decided to take our chances at the United Center box office. I had called several times during the day-sold out was all they would tell me. Finally someone there told me that no one told the telephone people what was available at the box office. ??? Strange, but he said to come and check and low and behold they did have some, but not great....section 5 row 6. : ( We waited around for a while, but it was cold so we went ahead and bought them. If it would have been just me, I would have waited till right before the show to see if anything else would drop, but hubby didn't want to stand around outside in the cold. And it was cold and had actually snowed that morning! They don't call it the windy city for nothing! Anyways, I can't imagine that the scalpers just let those tickets not get sold. I don't understand that at all. So, we were on the floor in the middle section 6 rows back. Being short I had to stand and look through people most of the time, but it was worth it. No one sitting directly in front of me, so that helped.
They put on an awesome show. I have always been a fan, but never got to seem them live. Stevie and Lindsey, the whole band, were more than I could have asked for. It was fabulous! So glad we went! More when I get time!
Brooke, I'm so glad you got in and had a good time!!
It has been my experience that the scalpers do not return the seats to Ticketmaster. Perhaps a few of the more 'professional' ones do, but if you look at the sites up until the cutoff, the prices may drop to rock bottom prices, but they don't get returned. I thought the drops to Ticketmaster were usually unused comp seats and things like VIP and Official Platinum seats that weren't sold?
yeah brooke ..safe travels cant wait to hear all about it
