As opposed to 'Fray'. That pronunciation still exists. But it gets misspelt too (as Fry or even Frye), as does the first name.

Oops, my bad. They did use his correct name, "smith" is just an example of my poor typing and proof reading skills. This is why I should just stick to reading all your wonderful post and leave the writing to the experts.

Lol! That's what I said 5 years ago and look at me now!
Seriously, we want to hear what you have to say. The more the merrier!
Re: Hearing the Eagles or solo songs unexpectedly!
In the grocery store today they played POMPOY. I couldn't believe it! I've never heard it played on the radio, never mind in a store. Halfway through, they cut into the song to make an announcement of someone parked illegally in the fire lane. I was more angry that they interrupted the song than the fire code violation!
I was so excited I immediately texted Soda. There was no doubt in my mind she'd be just as excited (and she was).
Re: Hearing the Eagles or solo songs unexpectedly!
okay,
I am brain dead tonight
What is POMPOY
I am sure I will :brickwall: as soon as you say what it is.

Re: Hearing the Eagles or solo songs unexpectedly!
Back in DC, since I rented a car, I was trapped with no SiriusXM and had to listen to regular radio. I found a classic rock station and they were running a weekend of a countdown of Classic Rock's 100 best artists. I just happened to hear that Henley came in at about 72 or 73. I was shocked that Billy Squire came in around 70 and ahead of Don. Really? The Eagles came in at #7. They usually publish the full list on Facebook after the fact, but I haven't seen it.

That whole countdown was screwy
At least the same station played VOL this morning.
