TK, when first reading this I thought the book you are writing was all part of the dream. It wasn't until I read in another thread that you are actually doing this that I thought, "Oh, I guess she wasn't dreaming that she was writing a book." :hilarious:
Now I am more interested in your book than in your dream!
Sorry for the delay to answer, but I forgot to subscribe to this thread?
Anyway, yes, I am actually writing a book. I started it a few months ago. In fact the idea for the book also came to me in a dream. It was very strange, but I thought it was such a good story that I felt compelled to write it. I am not really a writer; I've never attempted anything like this before, so the task has become quite demanding & huge.
One of the main characters is a young British rock singer in the early 70's. I started to read all the biographies I could get my hands on, of singers of this era & I began watching YouTube videos of the early 70's. I'm still doing a lot of research & the book is moving rather slowly, but I have the basic story of this rock guy who is murdered. I don't really want to give away the story, so when it's done, I will let you guys know! LOL
It's a lot harder than I thought it would be, & I'm thinking of maybe turning it into a screenplay for a movie! LOL
Well, that's really dreaming............. I have it all played out in my head, but to write it is something else. So far I only have about 50 pages written, so it's slow going.
Re: Dreaming of the Eagles
All it takes is one page at at time, TK. Doesn't matter how slow or how fast you go. Good luck! Stay at it -- even when you don't want to.
Re: Dreaming of the Eagles
Thanks Henley Honey.....
I have the beginning & the ending written, it's just the middle that I'm having a real problem with.:worried:
I'm writing a character based a little on TBS into the story!!! It's fun doing the research anyway!

Re: Dreaming of the Eagles
Soda, you dream the strangest things (all my dreams are perfectly normal, of course:)). What do you eat or drink before going to sleep? Anyway, you described it a little too well. I could picture the entire thing, so I hope I don't have bad dreams tonight!
Re: Dreaming of the Eagles
Last night, I'd had french onion soup and coffee for dinner. That said, I did feel a bit sick to my stomach after I got done exercising that night (still do, in fact). Maybe that's what brought it on.
Re: Dreaming of the Eagles
Wow, Soda, that one was freaky!!! To many horror movies perhaps? It seemed appropriate for this time of year tho. Pat Benatar? Where did that come from?

I don't know! I like Pat Benatar fine and I have her greatest hits CD, but other than her song "All Fired Up" coming on my iPod a few days ago on shuffle and me noticing that I accidentally misspelled her last name on my Playlist (which I quickly fixed), I haven't given her a minute's thought.
PM - if my dream continued along those same lines, you'd have gotten to meet "Joe" alright... but you wouldn't have lived to tell about it!
Re: Dreaming of the Eagles
Yeah - that kind of dream would have scared the crap out of me too, Nanc. That would be one time when I wouldn't complain about not remembering dreams.
