:smokin:  Oh man, you knew I would love that Soda! Thank you, thank you!
I've really never cared much for that song or Joni Mitchell, but put that man along with it and ......... :fainting:
Glenn the charmer, lover, MAN! :inlove:
And thanks for the link with your discussion, gef. I missed that!
Joni had quite the reputation back then. Reading the latest books, Hotel California and Laurel Canyon, she had quite a list including JD Souther, David Crosby, Graham Nash, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Stephen Stills, and Glenn!
Thanks guys! And Brooke, I did think to myself "Brooke will love this" when I posted it, lol.
I too thought the song was kind of "eh" - it sounds like 70s muzak with a vocal to me lol - but hey, it works in context!
I've never heard that song before. Great job, Soda! :applause:
Help Me is better than the other song she wrote about Glenn, Car On A Hill, also from the Court And Spark album. Neither of them rank as her best songs (I recommend the Hejira album).
Willy, from Ladies Of The Canyon, is about Graham Nash, and that isn't much of a song either. Better 'Joni's fraught relationship' songs are The Last Time I Saw Richard, from Blue, and Coyote and Blue Motel Room, from Hejira.
Joni's voice is like fingernails on a blackboard to me- but, the slideshow was amazing, Nancy! Those late 70's era pictures get to me every time!
So, for Glenn's birthday, I did three more slideshows... I know, perhaps getting carried away? lol. But there's three different areas - and I figured out how to zoom in on the photos and zoom out, which makes them a bit more interesting. I think the YANA one is the best one.

Ooooh, I like those! Carried away? No way!
Good job! :yay:
Wowee, I've just watched the Allnighter one - very h, s & g!
Wow, the Allnighter video is awesome!
