We are due a heatwave next week. I'm not holding my breath.....
Hot,humid, and rainy. It's rained everyday since Tuesday and it's raining as I type this. My uncle has a rain gauge, and so far, he's recorded somewhere between 7-8 inches of rain.
You wouldn't think I lived in the mountains by looking at my 100 temp on the thermometer!!! Our heatwave is to last into next week. And I do Not have AC!
UGH :brickwall:
Yikes, DJ! Hope you can stay cool somehow! Go higher!
I'm beginning to think I live in the Amazon rain forest! We've had over 10 inches of rain this month and normal is like 3 inches! Flooding everywhere. Temps haven't been too bad though, 80's, but so humid! Ick!
Well, the weather is not looking good for any firework celebrations tonight. Right now, there's a big thunderstorm surrounding the area, and the rain is coming down in buckets! The high humidity is making things worse. Looking at the radar, there might be a break sometime this evening, so there still is a ray of hope.
all gray here but not raining thankfully, annoyingly strong wind too
We had a fireworks ban in our smaller cities. But the city I live in put on a spectacular show I watched from my backyard. The cool down was yesterday and it was needed. I seriously thought about AC being put in but hey this is MT and the weather changes like the wind. However, this week is high 90's also and hardly any rain. Our farmers had a terrible thunderstorm and broken crops Sat. but hardly any rain. So with the heat comes restricted fishing, camping, etc. The Mtn's aren't even cool Upper 80's at our cabin way up high. Love the summer not so much the heat.
Well, the small break from the bad weather is over. All of a sudden, a thunderstorm popped up about 40 miles NE of here, and it's heading my way. In the big city around here(Albany), there's hail, downpours, wind gusts, tree damage, and power outtages. It's moving pretty fast, so hopefully we won't see that bad of a storm.
These little summer showers ain't too little anymore!
Rain all day here yesterday (over 2 inches) and a record low high temperature of 57! Brrrr for July! I was cold all day and evening!
Today the sun just might pop out for a bit and a high in the 70's.
