I took it to be his maternal aunt as his father's family was from Leigh Valley area of Pa.(based on the interview Glenn gave when he played Sands for AH). I guess she must have been young as his uncle looks like he can't be older than 18-20 in that picture. I remember Glenn stating(in the AH interview I think) that both his parents came from big families. He went to see the Beatles twice within a week or so if I remember right from the HOTE.I guess his aunt took him both times.

You know, I like Jackson Browne's music, but I never thought he was particularly good-looking. Maybe it was his hair -- I don't know. Not an ugly guy, but he never did much for me.
First time I saw Glenn, I was a goner. And I was about eight. LOLOLOLOL.
Re: Frey Fever : The Glenn Frey Photo Thread
I agree Pippin. I love Jackson's songs but never really thought about him that way, and I was 8 too when I realized Glenn was cute though my Mom already loved him. LOL :D And love the pic.
Re: Frey Fever : The Glenn Frey Photo Thread
i like Jackson Browne but for me he never had the kind of charisma on stage or off stage that Glenn Frey had. Glenn was gregarious and connected with fans on a near hypnotic level. You seriously wouldn't take your eyes off him when he was singing one of his signature songs like LE, NKIT, TIE etc. A smile or nod from Glenn Frey was really special. He loved to see fans having fun.

@Dawn -- This does not surprise me in the least. I know if I'd seen them in concert, if someone had said after, "Oh wow, didn't (name here) look sexy?" It would have been, "Who? Never saw him." LOLOLOL.

Of the original lineup in the early 70's Randy was very cute and sexy and certainly had his fair share of fans too, as did Henley and Bernie albeit to a lesser degree. Glenn had seductive sexy rock & roll star written all over him and energerzied the audience with his commanding stage presence, extroverted personality, talented guitar, piano playing and lead vocals. The butt hugging tight jeans and beautiful long hair kinda sealed the deal.

@Dawn -- Oh, I know they all had a following! And Randy was cute as he could be. I just know me. "Yeah, yeah, he's cute. Go look at him, why don't you? I'm looking at Glenn." LOLOLOL. I've been a lost cause for years. Snork.
