Re: Eagles Song Survivor: Eagles Live Album
I just realized I will not be online until much, much later, so I better vote now. (We also lost power here at work, so my laptop is running on battery.)
I voted for Saturday night to try to save Life's Been Good. But ever since this contest started, that song (SN) has been playing in my head constantly. So, I'm not quite ready to vote for it yet.
Since the other choice seems to be ICTYW, my vote is for I Can't Tell You Why.
And, the battery lights at the office are about to click off in ten minutes or so, so I am going to pack up my laptop and go home...

IDK but when I was listening to this the other day I noticed how much I liked the drum sound and it occurred to me it seemed un-Henley like in a “loose” but hard-hitting kind of way. When I looked at the credits he was not listed. :stunned: Of course it may just be an error and I could be way off-base. I’m certainly no drum expert.
I have never questioned whether he plays on the Eagles songs, just this one.

That would make sense and that setlist sounds like it could clear things up. Also, I wonder if anyone here saw this tour and remembers who played the drums on this song.
Re: Eagles Song Survivor: Eagles Live Album
I cast my vote for Saturday Night.
Re: Eagles Song Survivor: Eagles Live Album
I think Don played drums on majority of the songs (except a small few) in concert in the 70s.
I’m going to vote for I Can’t Tell You Why.
Re: Eagles Song Survivor: Eagles Live Album
I deviated from ICTYW last round in an effort to save Saturday Night which obviously worked, so this round as the two songs seem up against each other I will vote off 'I can't Tell you Why'
Re: Eagles Song Survivor: Eagles Live Album
Voting for I Can't Tell You Why
Re: Results of Round Three
The next performance to be eliminated in Eagles Live Album Survivor is I Can’t Tell You Why. “I Can’t Tell You Why” the tribe has spoken and nothing was wrong as far as we could see. We made it harder than it had to be and we can’t tell you why. But you can’t turn around and stay, so please walk away and leave the island immediately.

Re: Eagles Song Survivor: Eagles Live Album
Hopefully, for the last time:
I vote for Saturday Night.
I'm flabbergasted it's lasted this long. It's a real shame ICTYW went in it's place.

I saw the LR Tour but can not remember who played drums but I am pretty sure Don did at Giant Stadium where I saw them.
