Re: 2020 Rock Hall of Fame Nominees Announced

WalshFan-I like Micheal McDonald's voice and his songs, I just prefer the more free wheeling early sound of the Doobies. The McDonald era of the band was more in my time frame, but I love songs like...

Re: What's Happening In Your Life?

I'm so sorry to hear about your niece's loss...I can't imagine the pain of losing a child and so unexpectedly. She will be in my prayers.

I'm glad you had a happy celebration with your grandson....

Re: 2020 Rock Hall of Fame Nominees Announced

I love the Doobies, especially early, pre-Michael McDonald Doobies. I think they are long overdue considering what a top draw they were in the 70s.

NMB- I totally admire your diverse taste!

Thanks for the link, YEF. I really like Vince's rendition of TALA. Of course it's not like Randy's, but he did a great job.

    Re: Favorite TV Shows

Me too, LuvTim! I liked the story of Vince and one of the bluegrass bands having to open for Kiss and getting booed off stage. Yikes, what an awkward combination! At least Vince got a funny story to...

Like you, Dreamer, I was never a huge fan, but enjoyed some of his hits. I saw him perform in 1978 at Riverfront Stadium when he was the opening act for the Eagles. The Steve Miller Band was the...

    Re: Don Felder Television Apperances

I watched last night's episode. It was okay, but nothing earth shattering. The episodes are short, 30 minutes, so it is a quick run through of music trends of the year. I missed the 1977 episode and...
