  1. Poll: Re: Should Don be inducted into the RnR Hall of Fame?

Are people actually comparing Glenn Frey's solo work to Don Henley's??

Frey had a handful of top 40 hits, but songs like The Heat is On and You Belong to the City, while successful commercially,...

Got it. I mean, I understand the point, I really do. But I don't think that Henley or Walsh or Azoff think that Frey is unimportant to the band or anything, but for them to sell tickets they need...

I have a question for everybody who is upset about the Eagles reforming without Frey.

Presumably, nobody has a problem with any of the Eagles performing as solo artists, or even as part of other...

    Re: Eagles.... 3.0

I don't really understand why it's 'pathetic' and demonstrates a lack of 'integrity' that they havent' yet announced how they will fill the hole left by Glenn Frey.

The tickets are on sale to see...

The sad reality is that the Eagles in any incarnation are just about over anyway. Henley Walsh and Schmidt are all just about in their 70's now. It's probable that one of them will be gone in the...

In all fairness, Frey had no problem forcing out, in one form or another, Meisner, Leadon and Felder throughout the Eagles history. They were all equal members and he saw an opportunity to continue...

This is a touchy subject for many and I understand that, but I am going to say this with as much respect and sensitivity as I can.

Glenn Frey was an essential Eagle in many ways. There wouldn't...

I don't have any intention one way or another, but he and the Eagles at large have always been shrewd businessmen. I'm pretty sure Henley wouldn't go out and reform the Eagles without Frey unless he...

Henley is definitely playing his financial hand well here in his final chapters. You know he demanded a lot of money to still go out as The Eagles without Frey and the birthday thing is a great way...

Is anybody asking you to agree? If you're done with the Eagles since Frey won't be part of them anymore, then people should respect that.

No, listing songs sung by Frey doesn't contradict my statement in the least.

One thing to remember, though, is that this is BIG business for these guys. As Henley has said about ticket prices in the past, this is how they make their living.

    So, from a business standpoint,...

I think people need to remember that Henley is 62 years old now. He's an old man. As much as we cling to music of our youth and want it to remain young forever, the Don Henley who sang Boys of...
