Intersting placement. Though I'd place LBG way lower. Too much overdubbing for this song, at least based on my hearing. And even I did coalition voting.

Hey did you see the new version of SBR I posted? If so, what's your opinion on it?
Yeah, though it is an audience recording so that is kind of expected. But once it goes into the drum based songs, bass is incredible. But aren't those harmonies impeccable?
My Order:
1. Get Over It- 12
2. One Day at a Time- 11
3. Learn to be Still- 10
4. Hole in the World- 9
5. Love Will Keep Us Alive- 8
6. The Girl from Yesterday- 7
7. Life's Been Good (Joe...
Okay I'll admit I was kinda vague there. What I wanted to mean was that no one cared "enough". I think, as Walshfan said, people love the Eagles for their harmonies and vocals than anything else.
...
Same here fam!!
That's how it always was for me. That's especially why I love Walsh and Felder the most amongst everyone else musically. For me it was their indelible meshing and mix of guitar...
Damn it! The fraudulent recording won. Oh well, I guess not everyone cares about fakeness.
Anyways to celebrate, here is a version of Seven Bridges Road from Santa Monica again, this time a...
VOTE FOR GENUINE SONGS (Get Over It)!!!!!!!
DON'T VOTE FOR FRAUDULENT RECORDINGS (Seven Bridges Road)!!!!!
My vote goes to Get Over It for the win. Only thing to vote for here. The other is a pseudo-live track overdubbed to a large extent. Get Over It on the other hand is a genuine recording with no shady...
Yeah I concur. I always saw the Eagles as a rock band more than a vocal band. My first few songs I ever listened to are all rockers (Hotel California, Take It Easy and their cover of Joe Walsh's Turn...
I vote for Seven Bridges Road
Exactly! I think no one is considering the seriousness of the overdubbing. People, please see these reasons!
SAVE GENUINE RECORDINGS!!!!!!
VOTE OFF SEVEN BRIDGES ROAD!!!!!!
I vote for Seven Bridges Road (Steve Young cover)
It is just fraudulent. Actually, Eagles Live is a fraud in itself. It is just re-recorded tracks posing as a live album. I actually think people...
Well, the best two versions are 1976 Seattle and 1980 Santa Monica. By this I mean a 29th July audience recording which my friends have. Brilliant version with harmonies equal to the released one. It...
With that all being said, now:
I vote for Seven Bridges Road (Steve Young cover)
Yesss!!!! Finally somone recognizes my comments! Yes, Eagles Live is such a fraud for a live album! Thanks
And yes, SBR is overdubbed to make it as "perfect" as can be. To use Henley for Frey's...
Yeah indeed TGFY is sung well. But yeah, LBG is better. But I still voted it off due to overdubs.
And about the 40th Anniversary, yes indeed. I'll give an example. So in HC, Joe actually mucks up...
Understood for One Day at a Time. As for LBG, it was performed in the Hotel California Tour regularly in the USA. They did not do it for foreign venues though. It was apparently done at the Capital...
Understood. Either way, I'd have voted off LBG. Excessive overdubs, especially if I personally got proof, sour the audio.
Also Soda did you know that LBG was also performed with the Eagles before...
Are we voting for live versions of the Hell Freezes Over songs as per the DVD? Or are we voting off the studio versions which they gave in the live album?
Tbh, based on the versions of songs we're voting for, at least The Girl from Yesterday is genuine (either studio or live, wherein overdubs are less probable), whereas Life's Been Good is fake here,...
Finally.
I vote for Life's Been Good (Joe Walsh cover)
No. Not because it is not an Eagles song, or simplistic, etc.
It's because this particular version was overdubbed so much. It is so...
Jeez. Okay. Fine. I concede.
Interesting tidbit. Life's Been Good was also performed by the Eagles before solo release in the Hotel California tour in 1977. Particularly in October-November, where...
And also, interesting fact WalshFan. While they may not be officially released, Life's Been Good was performed during the Hotel California tour in 1977, as well as All Night Long.
Darn. No one is going for Hole in the World. Everyone seems to LOVE it.
I guess I'll do this:
I vote for One Day at a Time (Joe Walsh cover)
