I have never been to Atlantic City OR Vegas--two places I would love to visit! But definitely not to gamble, just to eat out, sight-see and take in some shows.
BTW, the Bryan Adams concert was ...
I haven't been on this thread in awhile. Sounds like the Billy Joel concert was really good, FP. He is someone I definitely hope to see in the near future. He is coming to Atlanta but it is a double...
THREE DAYS UNTIL MEMPHIS! Just thought I'd throw that in.
Welcome from me too, Ex-Canadian! Glad you found us!
This weekend was City Stages, Birmingham's big outdoor music festival. There really wasn't anyone I specifically wanted to see this year, but we always go and we usually discover new music we like....
Daughtry AND Bon Jovi--what a great double bill! Glad you had such a great time at the concert, Maleah!
He's pretty cute when he cracks himself up, isn't he? :D
It did sound like a great concert, FP. I'm glad you are happy with your new plaid shirt, too.
:fingerwag: Now, now, dreamer, let's not be tacky here! Besides, if I was face-to-face with Don, talking about another singer would never enter my mind--I would be WAY too focused on Don's baby...
That sounds great to me 8) ! The concept of "sharing" has always been very over-rated.
I went along as a chaperone when my oldest daughter marched in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade three years ago. We were scheduled to stand in the crowd outside the TODAY studio on the second day...
Great pics, Maleah!
Great news, Selena! Have a fabulous time following the Boss-man around next year.
(And you have a very understanding partner. )
Great to hear from you again, Selena. I thought about you as I was watching Live Earth last night. I'm glad you got to go!
So true!
Thanks for the advice, Maleah.
I did end up using Ticketmaster, but when I logged on at 10 a.m., they were almost sold out--I had read that the tickets for The Police were selling out immediately. ...
I need some advice from fellow concertgoers.....
I have to go online at 10 a.m. to try to buy tickets for Sting & The Police. I didn't pony up the cash--$100-- to be a member of the fan club  ...
That's so cute, Brooke--now every time I hear that song, I will think of you!
Sounds like a great concert, EF!
I saw Phil Collins solo several years ago at City Stages, our outdoor music festival that is held every Father's Day weekend here, and he put on a great show.
...
Okay, I'll play. I see Don and Timothy and J.D. Souther and Danny Kortchmar and Robin Williams.
I agree--Shakey Ground is a good song. I have it on a cassette, if you can believe that--which I bought years ago because I was an Elton fan, and now that song is my favorite song on it, because I am...
You're right, dreamer--I will pocket the cash I didn't spend and put it in my "Eagles Tour Fund."
I saw Elton John in concert last night, and he was terrific!
He played about 2 1/2 hours, no opening act, no intermission, really high-energy, unbelievably great vocals and piano playing. He stood...
Concert season is definitely starting so I thought we could start a thread to talk about that.
Of course, I hope we will soon be talking about EAGLES concerts, but until then.....
I just found...
