Pretty good singing too ! I suppose he feels he can't do that anymore for whatever reason. Again I thought he looked "stressed" the other day, not very confident in his abilities. Maybe there were...
Here's a dubbed version of Heavy Metal :

Well I did find him a bit "nervous" the other day in spite of all the smiles. It's possible (even likely) that he's not a natural entertainer and he's just stressed out when being the main center of...
Yeah something's up there ! So either he "catches up" or they switch to live singing ? There's a volume difference around 12:48, maybe when the backing vocals kick in. It must be a big PITA to get...
Sure, we're all scratching our heads ;-)
What TIE video is it ?
What's weird is that he had a large prompter at his feet too but it can be distracting to see a singer squinting down to read lyrics and not being sure what he's doing. At least here it's pretty...
Yeah I looked at the HC video for London and the "crowd singing" part came at exactly the same spot.
That could also explain why he didn't restart "Rock You" in Paris when he had no sound coming...
"Happy Birthday Don" ! Again...since I was able to sing it to him in person...with 499 other fans at his 21.09.2019 show ;-) Twice, as the concert started and as it ended !
You can hear the...
And that's probably were all the "problems" come from, without HC (and OOTN that I had paved the way) would we still be talking about the Eagles today ? Well not like this for sure, maybe like Poco...

Well I finally got to see him last week and up close I'm not sure what to think. The vocals don't sound too natural indeed most of the time, very "processed" ut even on close inspection of my videos...
He was indeed pretty mellow and had nothing bad to say about anyone... he did poke fun at Frey's stinginess perhaps when he told him how much he'd paid the Les Paul ;-)
Thanks for sharing, very interesting indeed. I was surprised when the interviewer mentioned that Gibson sponsored them to invite Felder over. Makes sense though and he did give them a great interview...
Pretty silly indeed on the other hand it's kinda sad to see "ex-blabla" slapped on to posters or repeated ad-nauseam...especially for guys who used to be the "leader" of their bands, like Roger...
Going by memory this looks like a good summary. I'm not sure Eagles Ltd still exists though, at least with Felder inside, didn't he say in his book that he sued to have it dissolved and get his...
Thanks for the summary of that interview I saw sometime ago. It's got info not available elsewhere AFAIK.
As for the "equal partners", yeah, Frey and Henley already had an upper hand it seems....
Not rude at all, thanks for discussing these points further, I'll go back to Felder's book when I get a chance, maybe more info was given in the original version that was recalled. I think we all...
Right, it didn't go to trial, but he did end up getting a massive settlement...where does your number come from though? There can't be any official source since none of the parties are allowed to...
Right and I'm not exactly sure what Felder meant when he said he was fighting for "them"? Joe and TBS had been well paid employees and it's unlikely there was any hint that they would make partner at...
I don't think there's much mystery behind what happened, Felder wanted the original agreement to be enforced, Frey and Henley didn't, kicked him out and were forced by the trial to buy him out. Joe...
Makes sense and I'll add that when reading these bios (Felder's but also Bobby Keys' that I'm currently reading) I'm left a bit puzzled by how much of the details they remember, it's almost like...
Yep, no BOFM that night it seems : http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/eagles/1980/unknown-venue-long-beach-ca-bdb2526.html - odd...
Which I think is a good thing since it can serve as a reference and explain how things came down. Now if that book had been the cause of the current situation then, yes, it would have been a...
