The deluxe edition of Bob's new album will include Glenn Song, and the album is dedicated to Glenn. I will be interested to hear his take on Leonard Cohen's Democracy.

No. :worried:
I'm glad you're going to this after you seemed so down after Fleetwood Mac when you said you might never go to another show.
I don't know what Australia has to do to get Seger out here.:-x
I posted these as my favourites at the start of the thread.
1. Night Moves
2. Shame On The Moon (Glenn)
3. Turn The Page
4. Beautiful Loser
5. Hollywood Nights
6. Katmandu
7. Mainstreet

I first mentioned this back on page 13 of this thread. I'm sorry. I always thought 'special guest' or whatever meant 'opening act' and that is in fact the case. If it was so wrong to think that then...
I thought it was obvious when the tour was announced that Joe was the opening act. That was why I expressed some disquiet about it at the time.
Is that a Packers jersey? That would have made you happy!
Maybe, but I don't understand why Joe has to be the support act for anybody.
Joe Walsh?
Why would he be supporting Bob Seger? Bizarre.

An American tour. :eyebrow:
I don't think he will ever come here now.
I saw that too.
He has never been to Australia, but I guess that's not what it will be.
It was also Bob's birthday on May 6. I wish he'd come here!
Wow. I absolutely worship that song. The subject matter may be gloomy but it's brilliantly told. Other favourite GL songs of mine are If You Could Read My Mind, Alberta Bound, Triangle, Cherokee...
Yes, during the Strange Weather/POT era, I think.
Shame On The Moon is 'Springsteenish' because Roy Bittan is on it? I'm sorry, but I completely disagree. If anything, it has a slightly Eagles feel to it because of Glenn's beautiful harmonies.

You can find out who it was easily enough at rollingstone.com.
Against The Wind is actually my LEAST favourite Seger album. My favourite track from it is not the title track or Fire Lake, but No Man's Land.
Top 10:
1. Night Moves
2. Shame On The Moon...
But Glenn is also on Shame On The Moon (from The Distance), which is much better in my opinion.
Bob Seger's tour has started:

I wish he'd come to Australia. I think he is a great singer-songwriter. I also wish that he would work with Glenn again someday.
