I am always glad to see Stevie anytime, but I must agree with the majority here--the combination of her voice with Taylor's just didn't work. Stevie, of course, was gracious and beautiful as always.

You are so right, Soda and Dreamer. How about the beautiful "My Thanksgiving"?
"For every breath, for every day of living, this is my thanksgiving...."
Cold and sanctimonious? That's a little harsh, Amarillo. Some of us don't find that quite so "obvious."
Well, you know how Stevie changes her quotes from time to time, so I guess we will never know WHO dumped WHO.
Stevie is definitely talking to a lot of press lately. Here is a quote from RollingStone.com:

If we had a single regret about going to...
That was only two years after The Eagles' official breakup, wasn't it? It really was something to get them together like that.
That would've been ME. 8)
Thanks for putting those up. Their...
I didn't care for Circle Dance when I heard Don & Stevie do it, so I was surprised to hear it again on this show, especially since Stevie has such an impressive catalog of her own songs to draw from....
I watched her at 10 here. It was another great show. I especially love the haunting sound of Gold Dust Woman--although I admit I am partial to the version where Don sings with her!
I bet you were blown away! It was magical just watching her do it on TV--I can only imagine what it was like LIVE.
And yes, it sounded to me like she was expressing some regret.
From the Don & Stevie thread:
They met when Fleetwood Mac was playing before the Eagles at a festival in 1975. When Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie broke up in 1976, they started an on-again,...
I watched Part 1 of Stevie's show last night and she was wonderful.
To my surprise, my husband also sat down & watched the first half of the show with me. He's not much of a music fan but he knows...
Sounds like a great concert, Soda--glad you got to go!
Thanks for the link to that song, Nancy. They sounded great together.
Is his song w/Stevie posted anywhere? I'd like to hear it.
Yes, Maleah, you actually get to talk to Don for about 5 minutes or so at his M&Gs while he signs autographs, and he is very accomodating--I saw him sign more than one album or t-shirt for several...
Yes, he announced as he was saying goodbye--and flashing that guitar with Thanks For Coming written on the back-- that he would be signing autographs. They were VERY picky about it--he would only...
I'm back from my short concert trip to Atlanta.
The four of us--me, hubby, my sister and her fiance-- saw Tony Bennett Saturday night, and he was great! He wore a yellow sports coat, white shirt,...
I'm glad you had fun, Nancy. I can't wait to see the two of them in Atlanta in June.
I'm glad you had fun, Nancy!
Now I am even more excited to see Stevie in Atlanta in June!
