Oh we are VERY overdue for an Eagles concert in NZ. My preference would be Auckland, but wherever they play, I WILL be there. fingers crossed!!!

(From their site, click on the "preorder" button, then down the bottom right it has the 3 flag icons for UK/Canada/Aust
And when you click on the...
Darn, the deluxe version is Region A discs "which may not play outside the US/Canada".
Well it makes sense to do a DVD/Tickets bundle.
The Eagles website has international pre-orders too, but only buttons for Australia, Canada and UK so far... (grrr. Then again, I have family in...
Yes please.
While we're waiting for one of the experts... they were still doing the 3 hour setlist in December 2010 (Australia) as part of the LROOE tour. I would assume they were still doing it in Asia as they...
Oh what a priceless image. :hilarious:
Well said. I don't begrudge a cent that I spent on going to see them - including the cost of overseas travel. It was absolutely a dream come true and...
I had to laugh when I read the photo caption:
"Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and the rest of The Eagles have been invited to perform at Nest Fest 2012. They have yet to respond."
Umm... the photo was...
Any list of overplayed songs would surely depend on:
the listener's age, and
where they are living
Phil Collins' Sussudio was SERIOUSLY overplayed here. It's only in the last month or so...
I think Long Beach was the straw that broke the camel's back - most of the damage had been done before then.
I am really, really looking forward to this. :band:
Thanks for reminding me! I really, really hope so (and that we get it SOON). :yay:
Are there actually any decent documentaries on them that are available for purchase?
Very cool. Yeah, I laughed at the "do as I say, no as I did" bit, too. I've often wondered how they cope with having teenagers when they know ALL the stuff they could possibly come up with.
Congratulations to the guys, and I agree it's very well deserved!
"While peacocks prance and strut upon the stage..."
Sounds like just another cheap shot by a writer who is so lacking in talent they have to knock anybody who actually has some.
Very interesting read. There must be a lot of artists who have some good music that was popular -but didn't make them the millions the best selling artists eventually got - who could benefit from...
We all have to suffer in the name of Art and Culture :hilarious:
Should be a really interesting read.
Well put, Troub. The music does indeed always win.
Strange that he mentioned the LROOE tour, but no reference to them producing a new album.
But, overall, I don't really rate the article...
That sounds pretty cool... you must be in OGG heaven!
:hilarious: I know how you feel!
That would be an interesting - and challenging - job. Wonder whether she traveled with them or if they just relied on hotels/restaurants on tour...
There IS some very good current stuff out there though that didn't make the list. I would have put CeeLo Green/Bruno Mars/Adele ahead of "Umbrella" which just drives me NUTS with its repetitiveness...
Intelligent lyrics seem to have gone out of fashion.
Gnarls Barkley's Crazy IS good, and the lyrics at least make some sense... but oh my, some of those songs are just :censored:.
Does...
