I would really like to see this, however I don't think I'll be able to see it anywhere in the UK :( So I just had to make do with the 'preview' clips on the CBS website.
...
A well written (apart from the wrong title of LGTIT :( ) and fairly positive article.
Unconfirmed but the writer stated that Joe does at least contribute some prominent guitar- work on 'Somebody.'...
lol! But hey, they did a pretty good job on that 1973 BBC show!
So did I. However it was n't obviously up to Don's high standards.
Once again, thanks for the warm welcome everyone. :D
That's great you guys got to hear it live in person, I would love to. The only live clip that I've saw of it was on Youtube, it was from the Tokyo gig in '89 that Don did.
Does anymore live footage...
I vote for IDTWNW as previously mentioned a great instrumental piece but I think that it's a bit out of place with the rest of the album.
Thanks for posting the pics Maleah. :) I prefer the LROE album cover one, doubt I'll be able to get one before/if the guys play Glasgow again. :(
Great find there glenneaglesfan. I'd never saw that clip before!!
No, other than a few extra pictures, it's pretty much the same.
That's a pity :( , thanks for the info. I think the DE is due out in the UK either this week or the week after I'm not sure?
LOL Me too Bomber, I was unsure of BBF at first, now I think it's great and if it's to be the next single that's ideal. Count me in as another fan of the 'that's all she wrote' line.
Great pics there Molly!! Does the booklet that comes with this expand on any of the credits contained in the 'standard version'?
It's still annoying me as to who played what on each song. :(
It would have to be Don Felder for me I agree that he is a fantastic, underrated guitarist.
It's a pity that things turned ugly between himself and the rest of the guys but if he was holding up the...
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!! :D
Anyone else besides myself a fan of this track? I think it's a great rockin' tune, some great vocals from Don as usual and it contains a great backing vocal from another one of my fav artists Axl...
This is not only one of my favs from the album but it's also my fav Glenn song from it. A great rockin' tune and a fantastic vocal from Glenn, it's great the way he uses his voice on the 'it's...
Me too LOL
As I live in the UK i'll be able to buy this. I'll probably ask for it as a Christmas present.
Well my fav Eagles songs are:
'Life In The Fast Lane'
'One Of These Nights'
'King Of Hollywood'
'Hotel California'
'Victim Of Love'
'The Long Run'
'I Can't Tell You Why'
'In The City'
My favourite song on the album and one of my fav Eagles songs ever. The middle eastern influence adds an atmospheric touch. Don's vocals are superb as are Glenn's harmonies. The guitar solo is...
I saw this last night. Disappointed he never performed :( He gave some more praise to Steuart, he described him as a 'catalyst' in regards to helping complete the album.
Jools showed us a clip of...
This is probably my second fav song on the album next to the title track. The guitar work seems to be very Santana-esqe which is obviously a different style for Joe which I think he pulls off with...
A fantastic track. One of Don's best, it's a song that I can really relate to along with 'Heart Of The Matter' after splitting up with my fiancee of 5 years back in the summer.
Hi I've just registered on the board, been visiting it for a few weeks now. My name's Garry from Glasgow, Scotland. I think the Eagles are fantastic because of the quality of their songs and...
