I can see that, but personally, think that LOF is slightly the better album. It's an upwards trajectory. I hope we hear the third album of this sort of material.

Yes, if it was an Eagles album it would be very different. However, I like thinking hypothetically. And I can imagine this as an Eagles album with exactly the same arrangements, just substituting...

On third listening. This is seriously good, and everything I thought it should be. Looking forward to the impressions of others.

The Island drifts along with that Polynesian sounding rhythm and those Beach Boys harmonies. Great stuff. The album is more varied than I expected from the 30 second snippets.

Yeah, I looked at the £24.95 price on Amazon, and decided not to. If the extra money was going to Tim I would go ahead. But, I suspect it would be going to Amazon and they then wouldn't be paying any...
