I agree, evet. I also thought the speech by the war widow was moving - she's right, music really does have the power to heal.

I wasn't going to be the first to say it , but yes, the mix was awful.

I have heard two performances on the CMAs so far and I thought they both sounded off...

The mix was awful last year too. They looked good, as always.
I'm so mad that Rascal Flatts beat them.

I wish they would smile more! They seemed boring to me tonight, especially I guess since we just saw them in Omaha last weekend and the concert was FANTASTIC!!!!! as usual!!!

I agree. The sound was pretty bad. They didn't seem to be having much fun.

Did anybody else see Tim in the audience when Rascal Flatts stole their award for Vocal Group of the Year?

I agree -some more verve would have worked wonders!

Here are my downloads for those who missed it, although if anyone has recorded and ripped a better version or finds one on YouTube, just post it here!

Yes and I swear I caught a glimpse of Glenn too but I need to wait until the show is over and rewind my tape to see if I am right or just imagining things...
