Thanks, Koala. It blows my mind that those 4 Hollywood Bowl tickets brought in $10,000. I hope they come with backstage passes, and a few other amenities - you know something like those awesome gifts that they give away at the ILAA receptions.

Got this in a Google alert, and it pissed me off. It's about e-texts and external linking, which is a good idea and one I've already used with my business writing and technical writing classes. In this, they discuss its usage with devices like the iPad. However, their example of external linking in e-text formats is tres lame and disses Glenn.

lol Soda! Actually, I don't have a problem with the example, but it sure is lame that this person feels it necessary to inject their biased opinion into what might otherwise be a informative discussion. Sure doesn't add anything to their credibility, IMHO.

And I'm sure he believes Felder was a founding member that wrote all the songs also.

As some genius once said 'there's three sides to every story babe/there's yours & there's mine & the cold hard truth'.

The writer obviously decided that Felder's book was 100% accurate, but that isn't what is annoying. The reference is totally gratuitous and adds nothing to the article.

And anyway, what are these 'outside resources' that confirm Felder's belief?
