@NKIT -- What I thought about when I saw her hand was how she must have cried when she took those rings off and put them in her jewelry box. I felt so, so sorry for her. She obviously loved Glenn so much, and he loved her. That had to have been such a hard thing to do. I think about any couple who loved each other that much, and if they make the decision to take off their ring(s), how incredibly difficult that must be. My heart just broke for her at the image.

Pippin I agree. It must be a hard decision when someone decides to remove their wedding bands. My Mom never took her ring off after my Dad died.

Personal preference, I suppose, but I would have continued to wear them.

I noticed Cindy wasn't wearing a wedding ring anymore in pictures from the Kennedy Center Honors - it hadn't even been a year. To each their own, I guess, I'd continue to wear them too.

I would continue to wear them too. I guess it just depends on the person and the relationship.

Karla Bonoff talks a bit about Glenn in this Q&A:

Aw - She had some really sweet things to say about Glenn. Good find, Soda.

Yes she did. I don't remember her songs from back in the day, but I do remember Glenn mentioning her sometimes in interviews.

I remember "Personally" very well. I can see Glenn really liking it. That fits.

I find it interesting (and wonderful) that Glenn kept so many friends from those early days. Says a lot about him. Thanks for sharing this, Soda!

    Love Karla!

Thanks Soda, it's very nice to know Karla and Glenn were special friends! Also did not know he was the inspiration behind her cover of "Personally". Great song!
