You know this event came up in my WireImage email & I didn't even think to look at it. There are a couple more photos there which I will post.
What an embarrassment of riches at the moment and this is before the Lupus Gala.

I am watching the Lakers game on Tnt. They just showed some celebrities in the crowd. There was GLENN talkin to comedian George Lopez. The stupid announcers only mentioned George. These media people are such morons. By the way; GLENN LOOKED HOT.
Good eye Cheryl. Thanks for posting!

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.
I found this pic by zimbio. Unfortunately, Glenn is to seen only on the edge

My God. How unfair is that? From what I could see, he looked good. I love it when he wears a jacket & shirt.
He isn't really a 'celebrity' in that he can be in plain view and be ignored, especially at Lakers games. God only knows what the Lupus thing will be like when he is supposed to be the centre of attention.
Well, FP, if we were taking the photo we'd have cropped out George Lopez, so I guess it's fair in that sense.
I think the photographer just didn't recognize Glenn. If he had, surely he would have included him in the photo. The Eagles have been world-renowned for almost 40 years. George Lopez seems like a nice guy and he can be really funny, but in terms of success and fame, there's no comparison.
That's exactly the point. If Glenn is so famous he should have been recognised straight away.
Perhaps. I would have thought if you had been famous for that long your face might have become slightly more recognisable. I don't know how many people use the Hotel California album cover as a point of reference no matter how many copies it sold. That was over 30 years ago.
All part of the master plan, IMHO. I've said this many times before, but I believe that it is no accident that many people still don't recognize the band members to this day. I think they planned it that way so that they were/are able to walk down the street and not draw huge crowds. That is why, even in the 70's you didn't see their pictures being splashed all over magazine covers, etc. Heck, the only album that has their picture on the front cover is Desperado. I also think that was a lot of the reason that they were constantly changing their appearence i.e. clean shaven on one album, mustache on another, full beard on another, etc. I guess they learned a thing or two from Beatlemania.
