I would LOVE to see a musical based on Eagles songs! I just saw "American Idiot" on Broadway, which includes all songs from Green Day's "American Idiot" album, plus some songs from their latest album, "21st Century Breakdown". The play and the songs were awesome! I would love to see it again!

I wonder who lets Joe use their seats. Has to be either Irving, Glenn or Dyan. Unless he has his own and he just isn't listed.
I've been listening to this interview as I've been browsing and catching on things I've missed this past week. My fist thought is how calm, cool, and comfortable Glenn seems to be. Really makes me wish he would do these kind of interviews more often. I don't know what it is but I'm always just so fascinated to hear these guys speak. I mean, I LOVE listening to them sing and they totally have my attention there but I'm also just so captivated by their speaking voices too. Anyways, here's my thoughts on the interview:
- I love the sports talk. Glenn is just so into it.
- I do wish the Eagles would do the Superbowl halftime show but I can understand why they won't. It would bring them a lot of exposure though. Not that they really need it but I think it could open them up to even more of an audience. But Glenn has done medley's of some of his songs before. Why can't the Eagles do that too?
- Pretty cool that he's into the Black Eyed Peas, Bruno Mars, and Lady Gaga. I like the Peas and Bruno too but I'm still can't quite get into Lady Gaga. Although, I will admit that I kind of like her songs Poker Face and Bad Romance. Kind of. I rarely switch the station when those two songs are on the radio.
- Made me smile to hear him make a reference to Blackjack.
- Loved the story about MJ buying more of his own albums of Thriller to beat out Eagles: Their Greatest Hits. I know I was a bit bummed after MJ passed to read that Thriller had surpassed our guys but Glenn is right "At that level, who cares?"
- My first thought on the Hotel California musical was "Really?" Now, I've never been to any musical so I wouldn't know what to expect but I just can't picture anybody but our guys singing Eagles songs. It's just not right. But it seems like Glenn is pretty involved in this so I gotta believe that he's gonna make it work and be as true to the original songs as possible. I really don't think that the Eagles would sign off on this if they don't think it's going to be up to par.

That was a fun listen... I have to say, the thing that caught my attention most was when he said, "God likes a silent giver". I thought that was very touching.
Hadn't had a chance to comment on this before now, but that interview was FREAKIN" AWESOME!!!
I loved it. And Soda, it looks like we need to be on a mission to find another Pro Am golf tournament that Glenn would be interested playing.
Also, need to start saving to go see a future Broadway musical.
