Glenn Frey 1948-2016 RIP
An article about the Troubadour Documentary.

"For the record, we never broke up, we just took a 14-year vacation!"
(Glenn Frey)
That indicates that he's interviewed in it. Wonders will never cease!
Maybe I missed something, but I didn't get the impression that Glenn was interviewed for the film. I hope I'm wrong, but the reference only mentions that these folks that hung out there. The way this reads is that if Glenn was interviewed, then so were all of the others that were mentioned.
Not only did "The Troub" host their (Taylor and King) first appearance together in 1970, but it served as the showcase for all their singer/songwriter friends composing, writing and living in nearby Laurel Canyon. That rustic, hilly terrain, winding between the suburbs and the city, became a kind of musical campus, peopled with the likes of David Crosby, Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell, Glenn Frey, Bonnie Raitt and Kris Kristofferson.

Dreamer, that was my take on it too, as I read that paragraph, but when I read this at the bottom of the article it made me think that maybe he was interviewed. I'm keepng my fingers crossed!

I'm guessing he does speak in it. The short video that (our) Troubadour posted that acts as a preview shows Jackson and Kris.
I was going to bring that video over here but it's already been taken down.

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.
I should have been more clear.
If you look at the end of the article this appears:

To me this is a list of the people who are interviewed during the film.
I missed seeing that last part that you posted, FP. From that info - it certainly does appear that Glenn was interviewed. I will be very glad to be wrong in this case. Fingers-crossed.

The movie's site doesn't list Glenn as an interviewee.
