I saw this Glenn mention regarding the Boys & Girls Club and I was going to publish it on GFO's front page, but then I remembered reading this exact same wording last year around this time. Do you think he's made another donation and they were just too lazy to change the wording, or it's just a repeat story? Here's what it says:
http://www.mydesert.com/article/2009...ifestylesfrontAmong the unique, one-of-a-kind items was an acoustic guitar owned by musician Glenn Frey from the Eagles and signed by all four band members. Frey's parents live in the desert and arranged for the donation, saying, “Glen grew up in a Boys & Girls Club in Detroit.”
It's hard to tell from that. I would like to think he's made another donation.
Not Glenn exactly.....

Apparently "plaintiff" a.k.a. Janie Beggs who is Glenn ex-wife and a Fort Worth ranching heiress attended a Dallas black-tie Art Ball recently with actor and filmmaker Barry Tubb ( Lonesome Dove, Top Gun).

Well, we know what Glenn was up to last night! Checking out the LA Lakers defeating the Utah Jazz!

By late in the third quarter, the Lakers were toying with the Jazz. Bryant made a layup, hit a 3-pointer and fed Gasol for a slam dunk. Odom added a bucket and just like that it was 80-58.
The crowd spent the ensuing timeout cheering the celebrities shown on the big screen at Staples Center - John McEnroe, Dustin Hoffman, Glenn Frey and, of course, Jack Nicholson.
You gotta wonder whether Glenn Frey is thinking "Wow, there's Jack Nicholson!"

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.
Wish we had that picture from the big screen!
