This is a video interview with Jackson Browne that supposedly talks about how it was living with Glenn. It was published on 1/09/15. I have no audio where I am, currently, so I can't verify it isn't something we haven't seen/heard before.

I don't remember seeing it before. The interviewer mentions that he saw, in HotE, Glenn's account of how he learned to write songs from Jackson when he lived in the apartment above him. That is really all that is mentioned about Glenn. However, Jackson's description of some of his song writing experiences are quite interesting. This probably show go in the Jackson Browne thread as there actually isn't any info about Glenn other than the interviewers comment.

Wow... Looking at the van, Glenn was lucky to escape without injury.

    Ditto, Brooke!

And he definitely was lucky to get out of that van without any major injuries - scary!

This article contains only the merest mention of Glenn, it's about James Dolan (JD). I honestly don't know what to think. I mean, the fan that wrote the letter to Dolan to begin with, I can't imagine what he was thinking. Who writes that kind of a letter to someone you don't even know? I realize I'm fortunate in being a Steeler fan and Penguins fan, where there'd never be a reason to send such a letter, but I'm also a Pirate fan and never considered sending such a thing even after 20 years in a row with a losing record.

However, Dolan's response is quite beyond the pale here. He needed to step up and be the bigger man and very definitely failed at that. I saw a post from ESPN that Dolan won't be fined for his response.

This article carries on the idiocy. You'd seriously never consider these are grown people. The entire letter is stupid, but the part about Glenn possibly talking about Dolan behind his back to his other friends is completely stupid. Fortunately for these bozos, Glenn is a grown man and will take the high road.

I'm not surprised Dolan gets hate mail. While you're a patient person, VA, I've seen many a sports fan foaming at the mouth when they feel their team's being mismanaged. The coaches and players get hate mail, too.

I'm guessing Dolan thought his response was witty and full of zingers that would really make that guy sorry he ever wrote that email! Instead, we get an email with the capitalization, lack of punctuation, and grammar issues one finds within texts made by teens that is essentially a version of "I know you are, but what am I?" He probably typed this reply on his cell phone as soon as he read the email in the heat of the moment, and regretted it as soon as he hit "send." At least, I hope so.

However, the truth is Dolan could be a saint and he'd still be reviled by many sports fans until he was managing a winning team. If he can't deal with that ugly reality, he should get out of the sports business.
