Soda, your real-life escapades rival your dreams for degree of hilariousity! Having read on past the elevator incident in the thread that PM quoted, am I to understand that it is standard protocol that the Borgata in AC allows fans to rush the stage at concerts? If so, I may have to pay them a visit! I have actually never seen a show there, believe it or not...

ev - I'm not Soda, but since she wasn't able to join us in AC at the Borgata, I'll comment on your question. I hear that it is pretty common practice there to allow fans to rush the stage. When we saw Glenn there, Molly, Karen Z, and I were literally right there at the edge of the stage at Glenn's feet. We even joked that we were so close that we got spit on. The security people were very helpful - before the show, they gave us a "hint" about when they would let us go up.

When I saw Joe there, they actually sold general admission standing room only tickets which I loved. I got pretty close to the stage then as well, but not as close as I did with Glenn's show.

Washing the shirt I was wearing that night (and the spittle that was on it) was one of the hardest things I've ever done.

And, Kay, don't forget about Mr. Schwetty making an appearance!

Hmmm - Molly, I have no clue what you are talking about with this Mr. Schwetty thing!

Okay Molly and Dreamer, spill your guts. Who - or what - is Mr Schwetty?

Okay - I'll try to keep this as G-rated as possible. I don't know how many of you remember the character that Alec Baldwin created on Saturday Night Live called Pete Schwetty. It looks like YouTube has taken the video of the skit down, but here an audio clip. It is hilarious.

Anyway, what does this have to do with Glenn? Well, at the Borgata show when Glenn was performing Desperado, he felt the need to have an er ... shall we say ... 'front-end adjustment'. As we said earlier, we were all standing right smack in front of him so no one missed it. I thought my eyes were going to pop out of my head. However, apparently some of the others witnessed the same thing happen a week earlier at Casino Rama, but I had missed it then. In any event, we dubbed these as the "Pete Schwetty" moments.

We all turned and looked at one another !!!

I don't know how we managed to keep from busting out laughing...or at least giving each other high fives!

Well, thanks for the explanation. (Half the fun was seeing the 'delicate ' way you decribed it Dreamer!) The audio was hilarious - probably even funnier than if I could have watched it!
