Wow, ev. That was a wonderful read. I wish I had been able to be there. Aren't you glad you made that trip instead of selling that ticket!

Of course!!! I did list the ticket through Craigslist both in the Boston/Worcester area as well as in North/Central NJ...and had several interested lookers. But I think the combo of the holiday date, the $208 price tag, and the fact that it was a single ticket made it a hard sell. But I knew that I would go to the show unless I could sell it at full price; and even though I had never gone to a concert solo before, it worked out fine both times (especially with Hershey and meeting Stars who I can actually still keep in touch with.) But I had to laugh...on Thanksgiving night when I finally had a chance to hit the computer, there was an email from 11 am the day of the Worcester show asking if the ticket was still available. I didn't know if he was local to me or up in Mass., but by that time I was packing my lunch, camera, and blankets (just in case for the way home) and getting ready to be Already Gone!
Ev, that was a wonderful review! I'm so happy you had a great time and you got those little extras! Now I'm off to read about Hershey!
And thanks for explaining how to say Worcester! I've never known!

No problem...it certainly is not pronounced how it's spelled, that's for sure!
Worcester in England is where King John is buried, in the cathedral.
I always thought that Don and Glenn use their own separate mics. The road crew lift the respective stands up to the stage when needed so the mic that failed I would have thought would have been Don's and not the one Glenn had just used. But it has been a long time for me, so I may be wrong.
Well, all I can say is the dead mike was in a location similar to where Glenn had just been singing. Since it goes dark between songs, I didn't notice if they were moving one mike near another--they very well could have. I dunno anything except how much we all wanted to turn up the volume on voiceless Don!
Here are EV's Pic's from Worcester! *G* (I got to see em first!! WOO!! thanks EV! hehehe)
I didnt resize em, just converted the tiffs to jpegs and cleaned em up a little.
this is my favorite, btw *G*

Once again, master computer artiste Ticky saves the day (and my mind)! I tried; I really really really tried...I think I had the right idea; if I had only known about the jpeg thing, I would have been home free! But there's only so many times I can read 'Upload failed' before realizing my limitations! Muchos gracias, Ticky!
Once again, anytime
