That's wonderful news about the new album! I was listening to the Rumours demos on my way to work this morning, was particularly impressed with Christine's "Keep Me There" and wondering what she might have left in the songwriting tank these days. Wouldn't surprise me if she had several brilliant songs from her long hiatus.

EDIT: But check out the column's update/clarification! UPDATE MONDAY DEC 7: Stevie says she’s going to work on several “Solo” projects before a Fleetwood Mac album. Mick Fleetwood is working on a Fleetwood Mac project of some kind without her. Rumours! It’s all “over my head” at this point.

I hope that Christine has written some songs. Didn't she release a solo album around 2004?

Rumours never cease with this band! I didn't notice the update thing until now. I do like Stevie solo, but I would prefer more Mac music from her. I can't imagine anything Mac related without Stevie at this point in time!

Mick sounds like a charming man and wonderful friend but ... perhaps not the easiest or most ideal husband material

Seriously, though, that is a shame. They seemed happy.

As for the solo stuff first, well, I understand why Stevie wants to do that, BUT I would much rather have Fleetwood Mac material. Like the Eagles, that band's sum is greater than its parts.

As much as I'm looking forward to the Mac's new album, I really would like another Buckingham Nicks album. The closest one we got was the Say You Will cd.

I found a cd copy of Behind the Mask yesterday at FYE, so that only leaves Future Games as the only Mac album that I don't have that I really want. (I might eventually buy Time or another Peter Green era album besides Then Play On)
