I had one of those packages as well and was hoping it was Tusk. But it was Kings of Leon. I love the KOL LP but I really wanted the tusk boxed set.

I had a package containing several records under the tree, but the only new one was a Led Zeppelin album. I guess that I'll probably end up buying the Tusk reissue.

I'm watching Tom Petty : Live from Gatorsville. He and his band just did a pretty good version of Oh Well.

Not OT but fairly random: Christine McVie put her gorgeous home in Kent up for sale a few months ago. I think this is the one Stevie jokingly referred to as a castle. It is magnificent both inside and out:

P.S. Does anyone know of an address where one can write to members of the band? It may be an exercise in futility, but I'd like to try to get Chris' autograph. I'm hoping it will bring me good songwriting mojo.

gorgeous is an understatement for that house!
I really hope that "upsizing in the capital" means making some more Fleetwood Mac music . The other band that rounds out my top 3 bands, Bad Company, is "rumoured" to be making a new album. (Pun intended ans spelled that way on purpose). I'd love to have new music from both bands!
Sorry, but I don't know the band's mailing address.

Never in a million years would I give up that home in the country to live in London! It is really a dream home (OK, estate).
Maybe Nancy knows the band's contact address. I haven't seen her around in a few days though and don't want to disturb her. I'll just wait and "put out the vibe" to the universe.
I'd never seen Christine's house/castle before, but that is an exceptionally stunning property indeed. Kent is not especially close to where I live, it's a nice county though. Being in the south of east, by British standards it has a fairly warm, dry climate, it's also very easy to get to mainland Europe via the Channel Tunnel. It reminds me of one time when I read about how in the sessions for the albums FM made in the 1970s one of Christine's favourite topics of conversation was the English countryside (I'm afraid I cannot remember where or when I read this right now). I'd probably miss it a lot too if I left the country.
Wow, what a beautiful home!
Thanks for posting that, NMB!

Aren't those exposed beams (the British might call them timbers) to die for, especially in the bedroom. The bedroom has an almost Scandinavian look.
The price seems low for such a splendid place and extensive gardens.
