He sings it high, he plays it low
Hotel California is a wonderful radio companion when driving home at 1AM. Belted it out the whole way

You can see the stars and still not see the light.
I ran to Target today & on the way I heard TITTL on the radio & then right after, they played FM's SEVENTEEN. Now that's a super 70s slamma jamma!!
LOL Debbie!!!
Today, as I was walking into Costco, I heard Leather and Lace and I love that song!!! I was singing it and I had one lady look at me. LOL. I want to hear more Eagles on the radio stations.
You came along and changed my life Glenn!!
OMG - I LOVE that song too Christy!!! It is one of my all time favorites!
I adore that song, too. It's so romantic. Stevie's voice, of course, is amazing and Don's parts make me swoon!
you better put it all behind you, baby, 'cause life goes on
you keep carrying that anger, it'll eat you up inside--
I watch Martin Bashir and today going to commercial he played "The Heat Is On"
it was great!
Oh cool Troub! I guess that was to do with our current heat wave.....
We were out driving on Friday night just as a gorgeous golden sun was setting. TOYL came on on the radio and we turned the corner, to see a house called 'Niagara Villas' bathed in sunlight! You can only imagine where my mind was at this point in time........
'I must be leaving soon... its your world now'
Glenn Frey 1948-2016 RIP
I was driving around at lunchtime the other day. Being a bit bored, I decided to play a game which I unimaginatively named "How long 'til I can find an Eagles song on the radio."
Now my car radio has two sets of FM presets (5 stations each). The first set - my main presets - has 3 stations which might realistically play an Eagles song. I quickly scanned through them. No luck. The last station was playing "La Grange" by ZZ Top.
My second set of presets has fewer good stations and really there was only one that could possibly play the Eagles. I switched over to it. Sadly, it was playing Fleetwood Mac's "Hold Me" (oh, early days of MTV, I remember you well...).
I let "Hold Me" play on. Toward the end I waited with bated breath to hear what would follow. Much to my dismay, it was a commercial.
At this point, I began to question the practicality of my new-found game. I was thinking to myself: "What did you really expect - that you would just flip through a couple stations and voila, there's an Eagles song?" Yep, I'm a little hesitant to admit it, but the practical, logical part of my brain beat the Eagles-fan part of my brain into submission. I decided to abandon "How long 'til I can find an Eagles song," for the time being anyway.
The only thing I had left to do was put my radio back to the primary set of presets, which I did. Of course, that meant changing to one of the primary-preset stations - the one which had been playing ZZ Top. Furthermore, they had to be playing something; and it just so happens that the something they were playing was the beginning of ...
