One of my local radio staions had a late night show called deep cuts. It was a classic rock station. They played Try and Love Again

It was an awful tv show called "Bargain Hunt". An open-air antques market on a cold day and when they talk about going into the covered area, someone says they hope it's warm. At which point, I hear the familiar strains of "The Heat is On".

Cool! Always nice when you get a pleasant surprise like that. Excellent choice of song too IMO!

My daughter bought a record player and I dug out some old albums I had from my school days. I loved the movie Urban Cowboy in the day and I bought the album. It had the date 1980 on the album. I was going to play a few Tunes that I recalled, and much to my surprise I find the record is part of Asylum records and Irving Azcoff is listed at the bottom, so I couldn't believe all the goodies I find.

The soundtrack contains, The Eagles' Lying Eyes, Joe Walsh's All Night Long, and a duet by Linda Ronstatt and J.D Souther. Also, Don Henley's early mentor, Kenny Rogers has a song on there and Glenn's early mentor Bob Seegar has a song on there too. It's like one big family album! Crazy!

Tonight on the way to work I had on Classic Rock radio and heard the opening to Take it Easy, so I turned it on full blast.

Glenn's voice sounded so young and I was really noticing how Wonderful Randy's voice sounds when he comes in on harmony on I was standing on the corner...

My daughters are very excited about my book "Already Gone" and since I started writing it every time an Eagles song comes on one of our satellite radio stations they scream "It's a sign!". It seems to happen a lot.

Living in the Florida Keys, every restaurant, especially on the water, has entertainment/music, and it seems like everyone one of them plays an Eagles song at one point.

The last two family dinners out, both musicians started their session with an Eagles song ("Take it Easy" and "Peaceful Easy Feeling").

Nope. I'm an Ohio boy originally. Moved down to from Boston in 1999.

I just can't imagine living in a paradise like that! I've been to Miami, but we didn't take the time to drive to the keys. Maybe someday!
