As I was leaving the drugstore yesterday I heard You Belong To The City begin. Could hardly hear it & I hadn't even realized before that that the PA system was on. Of course my ears picked up YBTTC on the 1st few notes .

I heard "Life In The Fast Lane" at the chiropractor's office yesterday. That intro riff is killer (of course, it's Walsh, what do you expect! ).

I'VE got one!! We always have ABC Radio National on when we go to bed but for the past couple of nights they've run Radio Queensland to keep them up to date with the flood crisis (they did this during the Victorian bushfires; ran Victorian radio. With all due respect it isn't really relevant to Sydney) but they interrupted the wall to wall coverage to play Take It Easy. Hopefully as the crisis eases & the cleanup begins Queenslanders will take the song to heart.

Went into a Checker Parts Store today and they were playing the Eagles singing Tequila Sunrise. Made my day.

I was doing pricing at work today and awhile back I told the pricing girls about a certain trashy but highly entertaining book I read and in particular a story or two about Mr. Henley. So when The Eagles came on this morning we all were giggling. Then again later that morning more fits of giggles.

Anyways, I thought I'd share, because it was certainly hearing the Eagles unexpectedly.
That reminds me of one of the classes I had in high school. Everyday when we came into class the teacher would play a song that had something to do with what we were learning that day. One day she played In the City. She told the class that she played it for me .
