    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

It sounds like it will be quite the show! Hope they raise a lot of money for our vets!

Joe and Marjorie Walsh were honored Monday night by the nonprofit Facing Addiction with NCADD for their support of the recovery movement and their efforts to raise awareness about drug and alcohol abuse.

The Walshes received the Adele C. Smithers Humanitarian Award, named for a longtime advocate of the cause and a former board member of the NCADD. Past recipients include Meryl Streep, former first lady Betty Ford and John Larroquette.

Thanks for the link, CA. I'm glad Joe made it to "the other side" and is now helping others who face addiction. Good for him!

I was reading the article. I can't believe he had stage fright at the beginning. He always seem so comfortable on stage. It makes sense at what he said in the HOTE documentary. How he had to turn to play onstage without being drunk.
