According to this Instagram post, Joe is recording music with Brian Johnson (AC/DC) over in London.
Now, being the massive Brian Johnson-era AC/DC fan that I am, I'm pretty stoked about this. If Joe's doing a solo record with Brian singing on it, or Joe playing on something Brian's doing, it will be pretty cool.
Those two can rock, and I expect great rock n' roll music from them. None of that smooth twangy country and western music to be found there.

You know, I was a little puzzled as to what he meant, too. If Joe is making a new album, that's pretty big freaking news!
Even if he's appearing on a Brian Jones album, though - when we know more, like the title of the album and the song, we'll make a new thread for it. Let's keep our eyes and ears peeled.
Joe set the record straight on his facebook page that they weren't recording together. They were just jamming together.
Brothers for life. RIP Glenn
I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
Joe will be a guest on Paul Shaffer's new show that will be coming out on September 15th on AXSTV.

Yeah - that is too bad. I would love to see them collaborate.
